Set on 35 acres on the banks of Charley Creek, it has a beautiful bush land setting adjacent to the creek. A truly tranquil experience. Recently rebranded the name to Charleys Creek Campgrounds as it is more fitting, as there is no clover, not much of a hill, and not in America (Ranch). This will also tie in with our other entities - Charleys Creek Beef and Charleys Creek Brewing. We have a number of projects on the go and planned for the Charleys Creek entities to make every stay a unique and authentic experience. "Not just a campgrounds, its the experience". You are welcome to visit us, get to know us, and be part of our journey. This campground offers toilets, showers, access to potable water, and power hook ups. Open fire pits, and fire wood available. It is a dog friendly property. The story of Clover Hill Ranch- In 2019 our livestock enterprise was struggling with the ongoing drought. Water was getting very low and we were buying hay from Victoria. One day while checking stock on our grazing property Bradys (adjacent to Clover Hill Ranch) we looked across the near dry creek and said to each other - if we are going to endure this drought we need to do something different. So we were able to acquire Clover Hill Ranch which was then being run by the CMCA under a lease agreement to the then owners. Then Covid struck and the CMCA left Clover Hill Ranch. So we took it on ourselves and it has been a journey managing our four farming blocks Riverleigh; Coleridge; The Shanti and Bradys as well as Clover Hill Ranch. Fast forward and it is now April 2021 we absolutely love it; enjoy chatting with Campers about our story and we have even organised a Farm Tour route through all of our properties. The feedback has been amazing. We are continuously doing improvements to Clover Hill Ranch with many new Powered Sites with town water and new campsites right on the creek. And everyone loves it when we bring out our trailer mounted meat smoker to put on a smoked Wagyu feast! Campers can purchase our Wagyu and Grassfed Angus beef to try while camping and can even buy some to take home. Activities available at Charleys Creek Campgrounds, Chinchilla: include camping; fishing; kayaking; motorbike riding; bird watching and bush walking. There is accessibility for RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Pull through bays available. Camping in tents is allowed. It is walking distance to Chinchilla town centre and Lions playground. Farm tours available upon request. Bookings preferable in advance to avoid disappointment.

Currently Closed. Please don't make any bookings until this is updated. Bare Camp is a Clothing Optional (nudist preferred) 346 acre property. It is a bush land block of Brigalow, Cypress, Wattle and other natives. There are small waterholes throughout one section of the property during the wetter months, a creek up the back and a dam near the house area. There is a wide variety of bird life on the property. There are often kangaroos and wallabies to be seen, and be on the look out for the elusive emus. There are many kilometres of tracks through the property and more to be made. We are a work in progress. Room for RVs, trailers and tent camping. We are a totally off-grid property here. There is tank water available, you will need to filter or boil, and an outdoor shower to use. We just ask for quick showers to save water. We have a composting toilet to use if you aren't self sufficient. We are a small hobby farm. We have pigs, goats, sheep, chicken, ducks turkeys and guinea fowl. You are welcome to help feed them at feeding time. We have a couple of pet dogs that love to be patted and to be played with. We also have 3 Maremma working dogs. They here to guard and protect us and our livestock. Warning they do bark a lot at strangers. They also bark bit during the early evening. They do this to keep away wild dogs and other predators. We are in the bush and they do exist. We insist that you never pat or try to play with the Maremmas. We keep them pretty close to us when people are here. We invite all people who love to be naked and want to be reconnect with nature in a natural way. This paradise is our home, any disrespectful behavior and you will be asked to leave.

Tincurra, once a lambing paddock for the old Wieambilla Homestead continues to be a working farm set on 211 acres. Located in the middle of Kogan, Chinchilla, Tara and Condamine. Set up camp anywhere you wish on our 211 acre property either with the cattle or away from them. For swimming, we have 3 dams to choose from; and a creek which meanders through the back corner of the property; some very heavy wooded areas or more grassy areas. Come to the main house for a coffee, sit down and share a yarn or two around a camp fire. Fishing and yabbying permitted on a catch and release basis. Outdoor movies, or have a game of darts. Bushwalking and birdwatching. Fires are accepted as long as there are no fire bans in our area.

251109 - Being fully self-contained we chose a 'non-powered site' adjacent to the creek located away from all the powered sites to which there appeared to be plenty. Privacy is guaranteed with very easy level access for large rigs (we have a 24foot van plus a LC200) and we still had heaps of room to spare. Whilst we could only 'just' see our neighbours through all the trees of this well maintained property, in the far distance, we could not hear a thing. There are some amazing and very clean amenities. Great showers, toilets and laundry with a great family owned and operated private distillery on the property up at big shed that also accommodates saturday night entertainment and a cookout, worth the visit. Located not far from the centre of the Chinchilla township that is fully serviced with all the essential 'go to's for grocery, hardware, pubs etc etc you would not be short of finding what you are looking for. Don't forget to visit the Large Watermellon' slice so you can take your photo. It's a must do. Enjoy, have fun.

Weekend Trip to Columboola Country Veterans Retreat

We loved our stay in our caravan at Colins veterans retreat. The signage made it easy to find and meeting Colin to check in was a pleasure. Large sites to choose from and the amenities were clean and tidy. Site 1 had the view over the watering hole, spacious, peaceful and private. Highly recommend and will return one day.

We enjoyed our stay in a cabin that overlooked a bushy small gorge. The cabin was well appointed, the beds were comfortable and the showers in the facilities were great. The peaceful ambience of the property was well worth the dirt road drive entrance.

Michael & Jody are wonderful hosts. We had a lovely stay and were excited to see 6 new goats being born. They have many animals on their property most of whom they have rescued …including; pigs, goats, sheep, chickens & roosters, Guinea fowl, turkeys & dogs, ducks & geese. Jody also looks after injured joeys as wildlife carer. It was a great spot to rest & relax. We will be back. Thank you

We had a very relaxing 4 days at Bare Camps. Lots to see, many different types of animals and birds are there. Jody and Michael rescue injured animals and nurse them back to health. Jody and Michael were perfect hosts, there if we needed something but allowed us time to ourselves. Great spot to stay.

Would I recommend this place 👍 yes definitely! Myself and my partner camped here for a second time and was absolutely lovely just sitting by the dam watching ducks swim, listening to wildlife and even got to bottle feed a lamb for the first time. There's no pressure or any judgement at all and felt completely comfortable. Thanks again Jody and Michael for a lovely camping experience.

I’ve really enjoyed my stay at Michael and Jody’s beautiful bush property. I love to walk so had many opportunities here as Michael has created a network of graded tracks through the bush which makes it safe and easy walking. Michael and Jody are doing good works with their menagerie of rescued and cared for animals. Kind and good hearted people, they are very welcoming and friendly. My experience of naked bush walking here has been very memorable. The concept of forest bathing to restore and balance my body and mind has worked well for me. I’ve enjoyed it so much I’ve booked in for another week

My partner and myself stayed at bare camp for two nights, when we arrived Jody and Michael made us feel really welcome, and being first time nudists wasn't a problem at all and we felt really comfortable. Peace and serenity surrounded by farm animals 👍 definitely recommend this place to first timers and other nudists and will be definitely visiting here again in the near future. Jody & Michael are lovely down to earth people 👍🙂

Bare Camp is great. Simple as that. For myself, I loved the " down home on the farm feel" nicely aligned with the remote Ness of the australian bush. Michael and Jody are real people who are very relatable and living life. Not 5 star for amenities, but certainly 5 star for a camping experience where you can truly enjoy the australian bush and hospitality.
