If you like your beach holidays packed with coastal charm, Ingenia Holidays Hervey Bay has a camping, caravan, or cabin site calling your name. Located alongside the Torquay Lakes, with Torquay Beach just a short stroll away, water sports, swimming, and fishing are what your holiday agenda is soon to be all about.

In fact, most of the action happens on the water in these parts. Every winter you’ll share the region with the 8000 or so humpback whales who migrate north to the warmer waters of Hervey Bay to have their young – and they put on an aerial performance you can even see from the coastline to mark their arrival.

From Ingenia Holidays Hervey Bay, you’ll also be at the jumping-off point to explore the World Heritage-listed Fraser Island, even if only for a day.

Onsite, an array of park facilities makes things comfortable for the young and young at heart – a kid’s playground, games room, and resort-style pool to name a few.

RUSTIC RETREAT

Our property is situated on the banks of the great sandy strait just 400m from the Tuan Boat ramp with access to Fraser Island by boat or kayak. We are surrounded by Tuan State Forest and wetlands. There is a medium sized dam on the property for swimming.The Tuan Forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal.

There is plenty of space in the surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club just 3km away and serve meals on weekends.

This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is NO toilet facility on the property.  We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don't bite our horses. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc.

Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry.
Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please.

Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick.

NOTE: ***During Summer- November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Bring coils, a fan as they hate any breeze, bug spray and long sleeved pants and tops to wear in the evenings from about 5pm-7pm!***

*4X4's are recommended if you don't stay along the fence line as it can get muddy if there has been lots of rain. If you stay along the fence line you will be fine as the roads are compact and hard and the camp sites along this fence are higher up, they are marked with Fire Pits so camp here if you want to stay dry and get a good breeze.*

Splitters Farm

Splitters Farm is a family-owned property just 10min drive north of Bundaberg's bustling central business district. Set amongst lush tropical bush-land, the 156 acre property is bordered by Splitters Creek, a freshwater reserve that feeds into the beautiful Burnett River. 

We offer Powered and unpowered campsites for guests, along with glamping tents and retro campers for those looking for a little extra comfort.

The acreage is home to native animals such as wallabies, platypus, barramundi, and prehistoric lung fish, and boasts over 150 documented species of Australian bird life.

Pets welcome as long as they are friendly and do not chase or harm farm animals. NO PETS INSIDE THE GUEST HOUSE. 

Dogs must stay on leashes or tied up (NO FREE ROAMING) All animal droppings must be picked up please.

This is another shared area, the front yard is a great place to either sit and relax or have a game of soccer or cricket, bring your own balls etc.

Fraser Coast RV Park at River Heads

Hervey Bay is known as the whale watching capital of the world and is just 15 minutes from Fraser Coast RV Park. Hervey Bay has a sheltered location, and as such is the best place on Australia’s east coast to meet the majestic humpback whales with plenty of good tour operators.

We have suitable offerings for all types of RV’s, campers, roof top tents, camper trailers, caravans, tents, swags and motorhomes.

Come and visit us and enjoy everything the Fraser Coast has to offer. You will feel like you really are on holidays. Located at River Heads, a great getaway from it all, yet just a stones throw from K'gari (Fraser Island), Hervey Bay and Lady Elliot Island.

We are dog friendly and also wheelchair accessible in the Bush Kitchen and Wallaby Wash House.  Bertha the Retro van and Gertrude the Gypsy Wagon are not wheelchair accessible.  Mango Lodge is a totally wheelchair accessible timber cabin which has an outdoor bath.

24 hour security access to your own private campsite.  Free wifi, hot showers, flushing toilets, fully equipped bush kitchen and laundry.

We have a designated area for dog lovers called Dogs Corner.

There is a lovely paddock for the dogs to take in the country atmosphere and located right next to the 40 acre nature reserve with 4kms of walking trails, what better way to Escape, Relax and Unwind.  69 species of birds have been identified on the property to date.

We also provide dog minding services! Photo updates supplied. Cost is $50 per day (add to your booking). All you need to do is supply your dog bed and food. Recently our guests enjoyed a trip to Fraser Island and were very impressed with the service provided. So if you love your fur baby and you still want to have a holiday experience, just come and stay here and we can enhance your stay by giving your fur babies a holiday too.

You may be moved to a different site if your chosen site is too wet.  We use Good Riddance products for the midges & mozzies during summer because it works, its non toxic + deet free.  We have dry firewood (hardwood) available on the verandah for $15/15kg crate.   There are plenty of sites to choose from.
One vehicle = 1 site - more than 1 vehicle can fit on any of the sites.

Blue Gums River Retreat

A special place on the banks of the Mary River. 50 acres of undulating grassy paddocks and beautiful blue gums along the river bank.The river is freshwater and beautiful for swimming, kayaking, canoeing or boating, you could try and catch a Bass for dinner. The 5 flat grassy sites are right on the rivers edge with good access to the water. The stairs into the water with the pontoon are perfect for diving in and cooling off, the kids love it!!Leave your boat in tied to the pontoon ready for the next days fishing trip. There's a BBQ with hop plate, table & chairs and deck chairs to sit back and relax.Access to the campsites are 2Wd and suitable for all size caravans and camp trailers. The boat ramp access is for all types of boats but 4x4 only as the ramp is gravel. As the weather warms watch the families pass by water skiing and boating.There is a toilet, fully Self-contained other than a toilet. Dogs are allowed but must be kept with you at all times.

Ahead of Time - Green Acres Camping

We have a private 20 acres of shady land not far from the pretty town of Childers. 

Our property features a spring-fed creek with fish. Bring your fishing rods as there is silver perch and perch for catch and release fishing only. The rest of the property features open grasslands and bush.

We are pet friendly, unpowered sites with access to a flushing portaloo toilet. Campers must have everything they need and leave no trace.

Just 20 minutes inland from the beautiful coastal beaches.

With flat and comfortable sites, this is a haven for anyone venturing to the Fraser Coast.

It's a 2 minute drive into town for supplies and where you can enjoy a range of pubs, cafes and shops.

Lots of things to do and see in the area including a bird park and the Snakes Down Under display.

Victory Village at Riverbend

Experience medieval times in the Australian bush. Victory Village at Riverbend is a work in progress; a farmstay with the feel of Medieval Britain in the scrub that is 12 kilometres west of Tiaro on Fraser Coast.

Through the wooden fortress gates, you will be transported back to the 1400s.

Your hosts are offering campsites with toilet access but you need to bring your own camping shower and water supply. Campfires permitted.

Outside the main village young townsfolk practise their skills with the bow and arrow at the Archery Range and the others can be found tending the Village's Kitchen Garden and Farm Animals.

Pets welcome. Dog friendly yet must be kept on a lead. Toilet available.

Mary River Bush Camp

90 acres of natural bushland with 300 meters of Mary River frontage. This is a great place for a base camp to explore the region. Campsites are nestled amongst trees. 

There's nothing here but peace and quiet, spacious sites. The banks of the river are quite high and there is limited access into the water. 

There are 2 boat ramps about 7 or 8 klms from the property. 

Arrive between midday and 2pm if possible so you can set up your camp. Don't forget to bring your insect repellent as you are in the bush and beside the river.

  We have also just built a shelter shed/camp kitchen have 1000 litre water pods. 

No rubbish bins at the camp so bring everything you need & remove everything you bring.

- Dogs welcome. Due to past incidents, friendly, non -aggressive dogs only please.

- Campfires permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place 

- Free firewood, gather fallen timber from the land

This is a quiet and safe bush setting in natural Australian bush. Mary River Bush Camp is set on 80 acres of natural bushland just 9 klms from the historic city of Maryborough. This is the perfect spot to rest and recover. There is a drop toilet available.

Bopple Nut Farm

Bopple Nut Farm is a small family farm specializing in Beef, Bees and Trees. We are a newly established Macadamia orchard with Honey Bees and the occasional friendly cow. Come and visit us and stay on one of our self-contained sites. Out of view from others and with tranquil, scenic, bushland settings. Each site provides you with space to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of life.
