We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. Our camp area is situated on Rowlands creek, offering 6 acres of creek flat with 3 waterholes. There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property). The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace. We are a short drive from the beautiful Hell’s hole, Unicorn falls and Mavis Kitchens. Take a day trip to Byron Bay (50min) Brunswick Heads (40min) Mullumbimby (35min) Tyalgum (30min). 45mins from Gold Coast airport.

Bindarah Downs offers easy access to our 4 acres and 3 levels of open and shaded, creek frontage. Only 15 mins from Rathdowney, close to Maroon Dam and several National Parks. Each site accommodates one set-up; e.g. one caravan, one motorhome, one camper trailer etc. Please make a separate booking if you have multiple camping set-ups. The creek offers campers cool waterholes to swim in on a hot day and picnic tables to enjoy your meals. We loved our three night stay at Dead Tree Alley. Guy the host and his children were so helpful and it was great to chat while the geese, chickens, Guinea fowl, pigs, roosters, alpacas, goats, cows etc were being fed. We will be back one day soon. We can absolutely recommend this Hipcamp for anyone wanting to relax and reconnect with nature. Only one hour west of the Gold Coast!! 10 out of 10

Great little get away. Love that there was water in the creek and the dogs could cool off. Ample space between campers and lots of places to walk around the property. We visited Mt. Barney which was a short drive. Highly recommend this space and Shayne is a great host and was very welcoming.

Bindarah Downs is a lovely, quiet, rural setting perfect for our family camping trip. Shayne was very helpful and accommodating- great directions, explanations of the farm animals and walks and local area. Only a 15-20 min drive to Mt Barney NP hikes (including Lower Portals swimming hole). We camped right by the creek, which was running with beautiful clear water. No mozzies. Grounds well maintained. No toilets, so you need to be fully self contained.
