Public boat ramp is only 2.5km's from the property giving you access to the fish the nearby reefs and fraser island. There is a hose long enough to flush out your gear and give the boat a quick hose down when you finally decide to come back to land. Fraser island sealink ferry is only a 35 minutes drive away to make a day trip to one of the largest sand islands in the world. Hervey bay Wetside Water Park is also only a 20 minute drive away and is a perfect way to keep the kids happy and entertained. Everything you need in a site, peace and quiet and decent amenities. Also had a possum as my neighbour so I was very happy with that. Went out onto the beach as the tide started to go out and got some amazing sun set photos.

1 night at NRMA Woodgate Beach Holiday Park

There are basically no reviews for the motorhome sites that I could see on here so I was skeptical, but this was the best motorhome site we have been to so far on the east coast. Really friendly people, REALLY clean amenities and way less bugs than everywhere else we’ve been. It’s about 5 steps out of the campsite to the beach which is really quiet and beautiful. They have wifi too which works pretty well. Would reccomend!

Weekend Trip to Fraser Coast RV Park at River Heads

Great amenities, nice camping spot with power and water hook up or camp off grid in a secluded spot away from everyone. Midgies are bad so come prepared. They fit through your flyscreens and will eat you alive if you're not covered up. All in all we had a great holiday.
