Weekend Trip to Crystal Creek Rainforest Treehouse

Amazing hidden spot, we had an awesome time with my two teenage boys and our dog, the site is quiet, tidy and the tree house is a dream come true. Went for a short walk down the creek, paddled on the water pond just 30 mtrs away from the house and enjoyed a fire in and out of the house. The house was neat and tidy, small but comfortable enough and having the kitchen area below and separate toilet was fine also, a hot shower in the evening was comforting also. We drove to the closest town only 15 min drive - Chilinngham that has a local pub/shop and basketball court with petrol available also, and only 30 min on our way back, we checked out the natural bridge park, which is worthed and an easy walk on a safe track for only 45 minutes. Annete and Paul were great with communication and respecting privacy. Id love to come back probably during summer to enjoy the water pond more for a swim and paddling. Thank you guys!

3 nights at The Meadow -Byron Hinterlands Domes

We had a wonderful stay at The Meadow! The accommodation is absolutely beautiful and truly unique — waking up inside the dome with the marvelous view of the open meadow right outside was such a special experience. Watching the sunset from the dome was simply breathtaking — the whole area lights up in warm, golden tones, making it feel like you’re in your own private slice of nature. The dome is thoughtfully set up with all the comforts you need, including a very comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. There are two domes and each dome has toilet and shower. Despite experiencing severe windy weather during our stay, we felt completely safe and secure inside, which really shows how well-constructed the dome is. The kitchen area is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need — BBQ grill, plates, cups, cutlery — making it easy to cook and enjoy meals without missing the views. The hosts were absolutely lovely, very responsive, and genuinely cared about our comfort. When the solar power was affected by the extreme weather, they handled it with generosity and offered compensation, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, The Meadow is the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and thoughtful hospitality. The views, especially at sunset, are unforgettable. Highly recommended for a peaceful, scenic, and unique glamping experience!

2 nights at Crystal Creek Rainforest Treehouse

This is our second time to the treehouse and we will be back again. The kids loved exploring the area and making fires. The dog had a ball too. It's ideal for having a camping experience without the hassle of packing too much. Thankyou Paul and Aneta for another memorable stay.

Great spot for exploring the Byron Bay hinterland. Glamping domes with hot water, showers, and flushing toilets. Gazebo sited between the 2 domes has a kitchen sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, Weber BBQ/grill, and under bench fridge and freezer units. Views of picturesque, rolling hinterland hills are a bonus! Highly recommend for an easy glamping trip where you don't need to bring a heap of gear - just clothes, food, linen, blankets, and towels. Beware, don't forget pillows as they are not supplied!

Perfect getaway spot! Peaceful, private, and right by the creek. Peter and Tania were amazing hosts—super warm and helpful. Highly recommend staying here if you’re after a quiet spot with great hosts and a touch of nature. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed one night in the cabin and it was just beautiful! The place is stunning and the cabin really cute. Worth it getting there before sunset if on a nice clear day. Toilet and hot shower working well and with a view! Phil and his dogs are lovely hosts😊thank you!!

There is so much magic to discover at the Red Cabin. Nestled on a crystal clear creek bed, the sound of running water fills ur day. Once u turn around u are engulfed by mountain ranges. A truly unique and healing experience. The Cabin has everything you need, the heater was toastie, bed comfortable and the outdoor shower and bath were a treat. Paul & Aneta are lovely hosts. Weekend Trip to Barachi by the Creek

"We spent the weekend at Barachi and absolutely loved it! Even though the weather was a litte wet, the hut kept us dry and warm. The beauty and peacefulness of the location more than made up for the weather. Peter was a welcoming and helpful host — checked in to see if we assistance, when things got a little wet. The property itself is a great place to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings, the hutr has nearly everything you could need. We felt really looked after and came away feeling relaxed and refreshed. Private and highly recommend a stay at Barachi — we’ll definitely be back!"

The red cabin was very comfortable and the hosts were super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The temps were cold during my stay but I was toasty in the cabin and the outdoor firepit and lovely big claw foot tub also kept me warm. Soaking up the sun during the day on the porch was also very, very nice! Would love to return in the warmer months and enjoy the beautiful creek right outside the door. Lots to explore nearby. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your lovely property.

We loved the field of dreams! We were a group of two caravans, tent and rented the cottage too for a family camping trip and this place was perfect for it. The views are amazing, the property tidy and beautiful and the kids loved the cows! Phil was a great host and we're very fortunate to be allowed to experience a part of his beautiful property. It got pretty chilly at night but the campfire kept us warm with plenty of firewood to collect! The open bathroom might be a bit off putting for some as it's not very private (away from camp though) but has a hot water shower. Probably our favourite hipcamp to date and we'd happily come back!

Beautiful stay, the surroundings are magical, the truck itself is so well thought out & the attention to detail made us feel like we were in a mini hotel room! The outdoor bath is spectacular, even in the cold cold winter mornings that hot bath felt otherworldly ✨ (the shower is phenomenal too) The bed was warm (electric blanket helped) & even the extra bed downstairs was comfortable. (I ended up down there the second night as I’m 33 weeks pregnant & kept having to get up to use the loo, it’s a bit of a hike up to the top bed otherwise) The fire pit was great, we used the pizza oven too to cook which was a lovely touch! We didn’t have a pen to write in your guest book so can only apologise there’s no review in there. Overall it was a wonderful stay for our baby moon 🌙 Thank you Felicity for allowing us into your space!

There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

In the area, you may want to check out the township of Marburg (local pub, shops and coffee), Sundowner Hotel, Savages Crossing, or the RAAF Amberley Heritage Museum (plan ahead). Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Figtree Farm at Findon Creek promises opportunities for contemplation, relaxation and fun and it is our wish that you will have many happy memories of your visit here.

Quiet and charming, the home opens up to a verandah overlooking a picturesque 10 acre organic property. The Tree House offers spacious open plan living, with glass doors opening to a large verandah overlooking the lush tropical gardens. The property comfortably sleeps 2 and is an ideal choice for couples heading to Bluesfest. Min 6 night stay The space The Tree House is yours to enjoy. The properties beyond the trees are private dwellings and off limits to guests. We will leave you to enjoy your stay but we are here if you need us. The Tree House is nestled between Byron Bay and the hinterland villages of Mullumbimby and Brunswick Heads. 3 minutes to Mullumbimby (golf, olympic pool, funky shopping and dining), 5 minutes to Bluesfestival, 5 minutes to the seaside village of Brunswick Heads (sought after fishing location) and 15 minutes to Byron Bay. National Parks close by and airports (Gold Coast and Ballina) 35 minutes Linen/bedding and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. We are located 50km from Brisbane CBD, 1km from the Warrego Hwy, Sundowner Saloon and the country township of Marburg. We have a several cattle and horses, and regularly kangaroo, hare, and eagles frequent the farm. All overseen and kept in order by the ever present "Ziggy" and "Harvey" our lovely English Pointers. Enjoy lovely views and relaxed peaceful settings. The farm is off grid but all the normal services are available. We also have a little vegie garden that always needs a water, and the animals love their carrots and grain. Close to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Fernvale, Upper Brisbane River and Wivenhoe districts. In the area, you may want to check out the township of Marburg (local pub, shops and coffee), Sundowner Hotel, Savages Crossing, or the RAAF Amberley Heritage Museum (plan ahead). Friendly pets welcome as long as they are kept under control and are not a danger to the livestock. Field of Dreams takes no responsibility for the safety of visiting animals. Please note: Owner lives on-site next to the camp site. Shared site and facilities including shared firepit with up to 4 other groups of campers. Usually 5 -15 people maximum onsite but sometimes more on peak weekends.

Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a small family owned and operated campground on the shores of Beautiful lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, SEQLD. We are conveniently located only 2km from the Cunningham Hwy and are set in a quiet bush location surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Scenic Rim. We have a range of accommodation including powered and unpowered camp sites, group camp areas, bunk style cabins and a fully self-contained cabin. There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.
