We spent two nights at the cattlemen’s cabin for a family adventure. Had a fantastic weekend - we loved it here. The kids loved the creeks, riding on the property on their bikes and cooking marshmallows on the fire pit. We hope to return again someday.

Our family recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Diggers Rest in Beerwah, Queensland. Nestled amidst the stunning Glass House Mountains, the off-grid cabin offered breathtaking panoramic views. The cabin itself was comfortable and well-equipped, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pool. Perfectly maintained and consistently refreshing, it was the ideal place to cool off during the day and enjoy the starry night sky. The hosts, Karen and Tash , were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond, providing extra fans and water to help us stay comfortable during a particularly hot period. We highly recommend Diggers Rest to families and couples seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway in a beautiful natural setting. The combination of stunning scenery, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

Our 1000 acres mountain top working cattle and horses farm is only 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD. It offers spectacular Glasshouse mountains and ocean views. Activities include hiking, swimming, canoeing, horse riding and more. You can bring your own tent, caravan, motorhome or stay in bunkhouse that sleeps 10 with shower. From many parts of the farm you have a beautiful views encompassing Malenny, Glasshouse Mountains , Bribie island, Moreton Island, Stradbroke Island, Redcliffe and Brisbane Port Site. We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming, canoeing. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

Welcome to Tranquil Valley Noosa, The peaceful hobby farm located in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland. 📸Insta: @tranquilvalleynoosa With rolling hills, tall pine trees and a variety of wildlife, this nature haven is the perfect place to relax, reconnect and soak in the peace and calm of this beautiful land. The farm is home to more than 70 animals (All have names) including dwarf goats, cows, chickens and miniature pigs, and our guests often have the chance to see cute baby animals up close! During the day you can enjoy a walk through the pine forest, and in the afternoon experience the incredible sunset vistas from our hill or from the luxurious outdoor bath. By night, sit by the firepit and gaze up at the stars while listening to the sounds of nature on the fig tree swinging chair. The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! However if you are bringing your furry companions with you, please ensure they are friendly with other dogs, kept on a lead and supervised at all times, as our baby chickens and miniature pigs like to explore during the day along with my dog who will constantly want to be around. We’re just a short drive to Eumundi, Pomona or Cooroy for cute shops and markets, or venture 25 minutes to Noosa for a day at the beach and a variety of quality restaurants. I live onsite in another area of the property, but will be available for any questions or help. Please note: Off Grid Stay - Yeates Road is the only access to Porfiri Rd and the campsites - NOT Stokes Road or Range Road - Porfiri Road (in places) does not do well after heavy rains! So please advise me of your vehicle type in your booking. - Small low profile tyres, sedans and hatchbacks will struggle - Motor-homes cannot make the drive (regardless of the weather) - AWD and 4x4 no problems. Vehicles with lift will have no problems. Our farm features bush and cleared areas on undulating hills. We are 100% off grid with fresh drinkable borehole water The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities. We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs. We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.
