Lyrebirds Nest cottage is situated in the bush with forest views from the balcony and rooms. The cottage is setup for glamping with an wood stove, queen bed (BYO linen), sofa, electricity, filtered water (hot and cold), hot indoor shower and composting toilet. A bar fridge and microwave is also provided. The open fire is not to be used.
The surrounding land on the property includes a lake with jetty, sauna, olive grove, orchard and chicken coup.
There are great hikes on the property or you can follow the creek and continue into the State Forest.
There is plenty of wildlife to see, a bird lovers paradise with plenty of Lyrebirds, king parrots, black cockatoos to name a few.
You're welcome to stay in the cottage or camp by the lake.

Magali’s campsite is truly great! There’s a fully equipped barn to hang out in with a bbq / fire pit, a big table, fridge - cooking tool, comfy chairs and lots of great board games.
Magali was also so friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend!

La Estancia Hideaway was the perfect place for a 3 night break away. It's spacious, surrounded by trees, quiet and very, very comfortable. A fresh and clean bathroom, huge amenities shed and even an open air bath. Our host, Magali, was welcoming and communicative. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

The camping spots were very private. The hosts were very hospitable and lovely. Super accommodating. The amenities were beautiful, and really convenient to have access to so many appliances. The outdoor baths were lovely, especially at night. Camped here with me 2 younger siblings and we all had a very nice time.

It was an easy to find campsite, pretty area and quite private as there was a lot of space and only one other group. The water was brown-ish, definitely not drinking water but good for washing. There was a fire pit available and wood for sale although we didn’t use it. We did not see animals as advertised:(

this place is so amazing along with the host - it’s an absolute hidden treasure that once you know you will return - it’s in a great spot for exploring the Jervis Bay Area - it has the best communal area and an outdoor bath in the forest that is private to your booking - I almost don’t want to review this because I want to make sure I get to revisit !! But Magali and her place need a shout out as she has poured so much love into creating a beautiful camping experience :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The surrounding bushland was peaceful and beautiful. Friendly farm animals. The accommodation is simple but has everything you need, and the hosts are good communicators. House warmed up very quickly with the fire. Very nice sauna however the pond not accessible by the wharf as broken but you could get in from the side if you wanted. You can expect a few creepy crawlies given the setting. Thanks again!

We stayed 2 nights at Misty Farm, there’s a large paddock with access to potable water and several level sites marked out with brick fire pits. Plenty of kindling around the tall trees and firewood for purchase. Lots of black cockatoos flying overhead and rosellas on the property, we also saw a wallaby and enjoyed the mooing of the cows. Access via gravel road, just be careful of the ditches either side when turning left into the camping area.

There was no mobile signal at the site, but the surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful. Great spot for making a campfire and enjoying nature. Overall, a really lovely place to stay.
