The site is well grassed and provides abundant shade from the overhead canopy. Best shade is in the morning when you want to sleep in. There is a tranquil creek on the eastern side of the camp and horses and hand reared cattle graze on the western paddock. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Bring some books, set up a hammock and laze the days away. Beaches on the coast and beautiful Jervis Bay are 20 Minutes away. The Jervis Bay region has much to offer so if you're up for adventure, bring your kayaks and snorkelling gear. Our beaches have the whitest sand in the world. Why not check out the dolphin and whale cruises and get up and personal with the marine life.The property is 3 km off the Princes Hwy. The farm is a rolling 17 acres with Currambene Creek making up the property's northern boundary. We have an abundance of native birds, kangaroos, and a few wombats. Our primary purpose here is horse agistment, with four horses currently on the farm, along with 12 lovely chickens that free range during the day. The farm is a beautiful haven to take a stroll and explore, enjoy a peaceful breakfast in the gentle mornings, or sit and enjoy wine and cheese at the end of the day as the sun goes down. We are located 15 minutes from the local beaches and a little bit further to get to the Huskisson township with the famous Husky pub, 5 Pigs Cafe, and various other restaurants and cafes.

Otford is a historic village in a valley between Sydney and Wollongong, and bounded by the Pacific ocean. Our private acreage backs onto the southern tip of the Royal National Park, so the outlook from the campsite is all leafy trees. Walk to lookouts over the ocean, hike down to the beach or a few minutes drive to dog friendly beaches. Our bathroom and kitchen facilities make it an easy experience for first time campers. We are well-behaved-dog-friendly BUT you must let us know in advance. Our access track to the camping sites has been repaired with a deep layer of asphalt but still best suited to 4WD. The majority of standard 2WD cars manage the track fine There is also the option of parking roadside, and walking in approx 300m to the sites. Please message us if unsure about your vehicle. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ 1. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog/dogs - we have horses, house dogs, chickens and; wildlife plus likely other campers close by, so need to be forewarned. Dogs must be on lead or contained at all times. 2. If you need to camp out of your 4WD RV (such as a roof top tent), please contact me before booking to ensure those two particular vehicle sites are still available :) and that your vehicle is suitable for our track. Maximum length is approx 5m. Please scroll through the photos to see our amenities and camping sites. 3. We limit the number of people staying at any one time, so weekends book up quickly. That said, due to Covid and weather, people often cancel at the last minute too, so if we are currently booked out, it's always worthile checking again closer to the date for any availability. A very pretty spot between cows and a forest on the other side, which actually creates shade in the morning for those who want to sleep longer. The host is very kind and came to say hello and give some tips about the area. There are no toilets or running water, so be prepared.

Ian met us at the camp as we arrived, showed us around, had a chat and a laugh. We met Nigel and Mavis, Ian’s two little dogs, that also came down to make sure we were alright! The camping space was lovely, well maintained, freshly mowed grass, fire pits and the two spots had access to a few stacks of firewood around the camp. The spot we chose was the first as you drive in, overlooking the creek. Quite a large space, which fit our 17’ caravan no problems at all. We had a few cows and sheep nearby to give us a nice country feel, kookaburras laughing, an occasional Rooster crow and Nigel and Mavis showing up periodically to check on us and let us know the perimeter was secure. One tip; don’t go down Wandian road, the dirt road turnoff from the Princes Hwy, take the sealed road turnoff close to the Servos! The dirt road is wild, especially pulling a 17’ caravan!! Well done Ian, you a great host and a legend. Would recommend the camp A+ 9/10

First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to Ian for putting this land up for camping! It's so considerate and kind. Secondly, we were running way behind on our schedule and didn't get there until almost 8pm and Ian was kind enough to still welcome us and show us around. And third and most important, the cows 🤣 my partner is a huge animal friend and some sort of "Disney princess" that animals just come to him. He spent a lots of his time with petting the cows and having fun. It's a wonderful place, stargazing is spectacular.

Amazing spot. Lots of space. We did the horse riding around the paddock also. I've never ridden a horse, but Keren was a great teacher, and it was really fun, so would highly recommend!

Loved this campsite. Even though it was only an hour from Sydney, it really feels like you’re away from it all. The facilities are awesome and the property is beautiful. We had the camping area to ourselves for most of the weekend but even with another group there it felt very private. Great access to Sea Cliff Bridge area. My dog also loved this place. I would love to come back!

We had such a fantastic 3 night stay. Kirsty was an incredible host & very accommodating. Our kids went for a ride on the ATV, collected eggs and we watched the horses being ridden around the paddock. A beautiful property with a short driving distance to the beach.

The place is a nice option if you’re after a no-fuss camping experience without heading hours out of town. It’s close enough to the city to make a quick getaway feel doable, but still secluded enough that you get that proper “away from it all” vibe. The setup is simple and suits soft-core campers who just want an easy spot to pitch a tent without wrestling with the wilderness. There are plenty of amenities around — a kitchen with the basics, fire-compatible pans and kettles, and a great shower that’s a nice surprise after a day outside — so you’re not roughing it. The space has a relaxed feel that makes it easy to unwind. It’s the kind of place where you can switch off for a night or two without doing a full-on camping mission.
