The facilities of the camping are quite luxurious some guests labelling them "better than at home" so you can enjoy the bush experience & still have the comfort of a home. Here you can discover amazing wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, cockatoos, lyre birds and a lot of other birds (designated bird drinking stations through a WIRES program which has a lot of success.) Bring a camera and take in the incredible sights such as wildlife, cliffs, caves, and a magical view of Mount Yengo and Moruben from the top of the property. They are designated walking tracks around the property with all variable lengths & difficulties. Whether you prefer leisurely activities like bushwalking and bike riding or simply relaxing on the deck and connecting with nature, our cabin offers the perfect setting for rejuvenation. On clear nights, drift off to sleep under a canopy of stars visible from your window. Access to the cabin is via a grass-covered path from Mount Street. Parking is available right next to the cabin, with just three small steps leading up to the deck and the serene surroundings of nature. Upon booking, we will provide you with the code for the key box, conveniently located on the stairs leading up to the deck. As an off-grid property, please be aware of the following: Solar power efficiently lights both the interior and exterior of the cabin and charges devices quickly. Enjoy excellent phone reception during your stay. While there is currently no working fridge on the property, we provide a large esky for your convenience. Situated at the end of a peaceful country lane, this retreat offers a relaxing and rejuvenating escape. The fully equipped cottage features two bedrooms with queen beds, a cozy lounge, a dining area with a kitchen, a large fireplace, and an outdoor paved area with a BBQ. For your convenience, milk, tea, and coffee are provided. Just 3 minutes away is Kurrajong Village, where you'll find shops, cafes, a butcher, a bakery, a chemist, a supermarket, and doctors. Your hosts, John and Peter, reside in a separate cottage on the farm and are available to assist or provide local information if needed. We accept dogs at $35 please add when booking. Only an hour from Sydney, the cottage offers a large garden and 32 hectares (80 acres) of wooded farmland, located in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. The Blue Mountains boast numerous scenic bushwalks and spectacular views. The nearby Hawkesbury River is ideal for canoeing, and the historic towns of Richmond, Windsor, and Ebenezer are just minutes away.
