Mandalong Manor is set in a small valley partly cleared with lots of trees , creek and dam , peaceful setting , wildlife , wallabies , kangaroos , kookaburras cockatoos , occasional koala and wombat , goanna , deer can also be seen . There are a few nice spots for camping . The property is just near Jimbo’s Industrial Art Emporium . You may notice a collection of interesting vehicles , machinery and building materials on your way to the gate . Please come in the main gate and contact me when you arrive , I will meet you there . The camp sites are on the other side of the paddock .

Dharawal Camp offers all the benefits of glamping. With the secluded bush surroundings and the quiet, it's hard to believe you're only an hour away from Sydney. You might even see a Koala There is strictly no accomodation in the Cabin. The camp features a camping toilet and bathing facilities, gas bbq, a kitchen washing area, NO FRIDGE, a recreation space and dining table when the weather is bad. All you need to do is roll out your swag. Campers are encouraged to take their rubbish with them. There is access to power for campervans/caravans. Warm your toes at the outdoor fireplace whilst you chat with friends. (Please bring own firewood). You will be a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Dharawal National Park which has wonderful swimming holes and bush walks. The site is 15 minutes drive from Campbelltown, which offers all amenities of a large metropolitan city.

Abundant wild kangaroos ,birds and wildlife including the occasional snake and fox. Backs on to South Creek not suited to swimming. Fishing allowed if the DPI Fisheries rules and regulations, licences are followed. Shared ammenities if needed. Bathroom, small kitchen and sink, microwave, kettle and toaster and fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser . Washing machine. Table and eight chairs. Table tennis and small air hockey table. Garbage bin provided and we will dispose of rubbish. Recycle bin red to put in recycle bottles and empty gas cyclinders. Not far from M7 , Historic towns of the Hawkesbury.

What a great little cost-effective place to stay. The kitchen and bathroom facilities and the cupboard shed area for wet nights makes it an excellent location to stop. Some people have mentioned the smell in their reviews, we didn’t get any of this. But there is so much space undercover where I’m sure you can hide out if there was a smell and still enjoy yourself. We will stay again

Very quiet, peaceful and pretty. The composting toilets are clean and well maintained. There are lots of kangaroos & wallabies about, and an abundance of bird life. It was lovely waking up to birdsong!

This campsite is a fantastic getaway nestled near a beautiful river and has a large open space for sporting activities during the day and good shade in the edge areas during the afternoon! Yara was always helpful and the amenities (showers coming soon) were also very clean and well looked after! Drive in is also beautiful!

Such a spectacular campsite in the most secluded and peaceful region. Cell data doesn’t work so you feel completely off grid and there are a bunch of little trails and walks you can do. The campsite is very well equipped with a toilet, undercover area, book nook, chairs, a table, a lovely fireplace, and more! Brendan is a very kind host who gives you whatever information you need to enjoy your stay, we highly recommend the orange picking. All in all, a great trip and an even better spot.

My favourite Hipcamp site that we’ve stayed at!! Jim is a legend and very accommodating :) camping spot was great, it drizzled most of the time we were there but the site seems to drain well and it didn’t get boggy/soggy. Composting toilet was very clean and worked well, and Jim topped up our drinking water when we needed. Good distance from other campers and it was lovely to wake up to all the bird sounds. Can’t wait to come back again, thanks Jim!

Large flat sites, each campsite is a decent gap away from the other. Host provided toilets on some sites. Lots of wonderful bird life. Easy to find and easy to setup camp due to flat mowed campsites. Host very nice and great to deal with. We will be back!

Weekend Trip to Whispering Gums Colo River Camping

We had a fantastic time at Whispering Gums. There’s lots of space between camping spots and most of them have some cover under trees. It’s right next to the beautiful Colo River which had varied levels of water depth that has good areas for small dogs and kids. Toilets are nice and clean. The firepits were a good size and we got value purchasing the firewood and kindling. Make sure you follow their provided directions on getting there. There’s a big difference in road quality between the two possible routes!

This was a perfect site for us. Just a place one group, and there was the added benefit of a nice covered area with a table and chairs next to the fireplace. Generous fire wood was supplied as well. Totally quiet with just the sounds of nature. Extra bonus. It is off the grid. We will be back.

We spent the weekend here with friends and absolutely loved it. The campground is right next to a beautiful river with crystal-clear water and sandy spots, it’s truly stunning and so relaxing. The bathrooms were clean throughout our stay, and Yara and her partner were incredibly friendly and communicative, which made everything even easier. It’s also super handy that the campground is only about two hours from Sydney, making it perfect for a quick 2-night escape over any weekend. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My wife and I had such a beautiful, quiet, relaxing time in this amazing place to be. Listening to and watching the beautiful birdlife, the local wildlife and enjoying the creek and the serenity. Brendan is a great guy, polite and down to Earth. The campsite is neat and comfortable. Take your time to relax and cross the creek, walk the trail and be amazed by nature.

1 night at Mandalong Manor

Stayed at Creeky Heights for one night. Jim was great, met us at the gate and led us to our site. Very quiet and peaceful. Dozens of bird species, wallabies, and kangaroos. Would recommend.
