Beautiful spot with the most amazing view from the cabin. Lots of birds to watch. Lovely rustic cabin with warming fire. Our dog loved swimming in the billabong by the sauna. Ash was very responsive, couldn’t have asked for more.

I stayed with my partner and 2 dogs. The log cabin was wonderful, has all the amenities you need surrounded by nature. Loved waking up and sitting outside on the deck with a coffee with the view of the trees. It was so peaceful! Ash and Ellie were the perfect hosts and made sure we were comfortable!

Our family of four had a fantastic stay at Ross and Joanne's place. We hired Carisbrook, the larger home at the retreat. It was so comfortable with everything you need. A home away from home. Ross and Joanne are great hosts and communication was excellent. Our 15 year old is obsessed with fishing. He caught quite a few bass in the river. He was very impressed! The tall trees, the birds and the serenity made our stay a memorable one. We will definitely be back. The smaller cottages look just a comfortable too with everything you need. Thanks Ross and Joanne. You have a beautiful retreat. We will see you soon 👍🎣😊

I cherish the cleanliness of the river and surrounds and wish to be able to share this special environment with others who care to preserve all it offers. You can explore the property along the tracks, paddle, swim or fish in the river, enjoy the fauna, wildlife and birdlife. Located not far from Braidwood, a town steeped in history, with good shopping, coffee shops and great food. Sloping to flat land amongst the Scribbly Gum trees offering a number of sites and walks through the property. It provides both sun and shade. Access is good for vans of any size along a track through the bushland. Lovely swimming spots in the Mongalowe River, beautiful clear water, and several lovely bushwalks around the property.
