Brooman is less than 30 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast. Shallow Crossing is 10 minutes to the south. North is Pigeon House car park, Yadboro and the base of The Castle. To the West there are hundreds of kilometres of Forestry and National Park roads through some of the most spectacular forested mountain country east of the Coastal Range. The Clyde River Berry Farm is just minutes down the road. Local fish and chips, great coffee and handmade bread is 25mins drive at Burrill Lake. We had such a lovely stay at Hope’s view cabin! Carol was very warm and sweet. She even let us picked grapefruits from her garden and gave us some eggs from her hens, which was such a thoughtful touch. Her hospitality is truly exceptional. The cabin itself is cozy, spotless, and feels like home. There’s so much to explore and do on her beautiful property, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Weekend Trip to Stary Ponds
Very well located camping facility next to Goulburn. The designated area has some open grass for campfires and general activities, trees to explore and collect firewood from, and a small pond. Our 2-night stay gave us the chance to switch off from the city and immerse in the sounds of frogs and birds at night, while daytime was spent spotting the odd wallaby (and a feral deer) amongst the woods. It was also very nice for the hosts to put our 2 tents close to each other, since we came as 2 families and this allowed us to do all activities together instead of being on opposite ends of the property. Omar and Mya are very hospitable hosts and have excellent knowledge of their property to make a stay here a real treat!

Beautifully maintained camping grounds and very nice setting. We camped, but also used the van as an ensuite/kitchen storage, which worked well. There's only a few camp sites which can be booked at the same time so there is a great amount of privacy and we could camp a long way away from other campers. Beautiful location, so serene. The trees on the property are really tall and the afternoon light coming through the property was stunning. Paula is lovely - very friendly, and willing to accomodate. It was nice to have a gas stove and oven to cook a meal in as well.

We had a lovely stay – such a peaceful and beautiful location! The tent was cosy and very comfortable for two adults. It was a bit of a squeeze with kids, but we made it work and they absolutely loved collecting wood and exploring the area. The space was clean, and the beds were great – warm and inviting after a day outside. There’s a grill over the firepit and plenty of wood around to collect, which made for great family fun. Do note that there’s no cooking equipment or seating, so we recommend bringing your own table, chairs, and kitchen/eating gear. Also, if you’re staying in cooler weather, bring a few extra blankets. A lovely glamping experience overall. Thanks for having us!

A secluded little historic village in a peaceful valley. Half hour drive to the start of Pigeonhouse Mountain walk. The restored cottages are so charming, we were comfortable and cosy in ours, loved all the timber and features. Host took extra care to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommended.

Picturesque views of the paddock from the caravan. The caravan itself is very modern and well equipped. We were blessed with sunshine and had a wonderful evening watching the kangaroos hop about. Sizzling bacon to the sunrise over the treeline was magical; my parents on their first visit from UK absolutely loved the experience from start to finish. Kirsty was very helpful and available but not at all intrusive. In the evening we felt like we had the whole property to ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

Mya's land was incredible. We booked very last minute and the host was incredibly accommodating. He set up the swings for our daughter and the fire for when we arrived! There was plenty of room for activities amongst the peace and quiet of the property. The tent was perfect for our family of three. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough!
