The camping area is private, quiet, relaxing and free from large crowds and you will not be packed in like sardines like your typical caravan park!
You can relax by the spring fed dam and look for Coy fish, lay under the trees and do a spot of bird and koala watching or go for a bush walk in the many surrounding trails.
Dogs - We are happy for you to bring your fury friends (as long as they are supervised, dog and child friendly, well behaved and non destructive in nature) Please keep them out of the vegie gardens!! Please be mindful that the fencing is not dog safe and the property is surrounded by National Parks and Wildlife.
Children - Please be mindful that the dam is not fenced off.
Power - Each site comes with 240 volt 10 amp power supplied.
Water - We are on tank water so please do not fill up your caravan water tank.
With only 2 designated Caravan / Camper spaces and 1 designated Tent sight tranquillity is assured.

Little Plain Hall grounds - a small rural hall and grounds celebrating their 100th year in 2023 and adjacent to the Ellenborough River with a number of bush campsites available. (If you are after more than a nice piece of grass and a flushing toilet then this property maybe isn't for you!) All sites are reached via dirt tracks that can be rough and slippery. Sites 1 and 2 are adjacent to each other behind the hall and closest to the toilet and the most accessible-more suited to caravans and those without 4 wheel drives. Sites 3, 4 and 5 are adjacent to each other on the banks of the river. Site 6 is separate from the others on the bank of Little Plain Creek but furthest from the toilet. PLEASE NOTE: Access to the river at sites 3, 4 and 5 - the banks are steep and though we have a narrow track down it is slippery. There is access to the river at other spots on the property. This open grassed area of 6 acres is 5 kms further on from the Ellenborough Falls turnoff. (We are not near Ellenborough village but in Elands- this is a somewhat common error when people look us up.)
We are a community-run non-profit facility available to campers. All funds raised are used to improve the grounds and hall.

Following the Brown tourist signs to Ellenborough Falls turn off/ continue straight ahead on Glenwarrin Road (don't turn into the falls). You will cross over 2 bridges. After the second bridge we are the next property on the right.
Larger rigs are not advised. because of the winding dirt roads to get to our village.
One toilet available and limited tank water - please BYO water and be water wise with the tank water at the hall. Well behaved pets are welcome.

Cameron's Falls is a historic site, the 'falls', really just gentle rapids, are the original river crossing site for horse drawn vehicles to travel from Port Macquarie/Wauchope inland to Beechwood and beyond. Today we are a hobby farm with cows, horses - we invite you to say hello, but please don't feed any of the animals. If we are here to greet you on arrival you can fill up with potable rain water at our cottage.
The Hastings is still tidal at our place so the access and flow varies throughout the day - we generally take our littlest kids down at low tide. Swim, fish or explore our hiking trails though the old growth riparian vegetation along winding creeks. If you are into birds you will see plenty here - in the last 12 months we have counted nearly 100 different species on our property!

Great location to visit the nearby falls. Toilet was outside the hall. Sites 1&2 are open but far enough away from each other for privacy. Sites 3,4 and 5 are down a grassy slope hidden in the trees. Site 6 was very overgrown and would take great care to access over a very old bridge. Bellbirds are very vocal in the backdrop of tall trees. Would recommend if visiting the area

Christie’s camp is immaculate with all of the facilities you would ever need it is truly a glamping experience. This camp is ideal for first time campers or campers with the bare minimum as she has it all.
The location is ideal for exploring the mid north coast and is close to great cafes pubs beaches etc.

Where to begin - the facilities are awesome they feel almost brand new. The site is close enough to Port Macquarie it makes nipping in and out easy whilst still having the feeling of being off the grid. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves but even if the other site had been booked it still would have been nice. Chrissie is a massive legend and we will definitely be back. And last but not least Chrissie is lucky she wasn’t missing a dog when we left because we fell completely in love with Mr Ray (and the others) another gorgeous Kelpie just like ours. Honestly we had the best time . Thank you so so much x

Lovely place, very peaceful. Upon arrival I was greeted by Astro (a very adorable dog), who followed me to camp, hung around and kept me company whenever I'd arrive back onto site. Would definitely recommend staying here, it was very convenient when it came to visiting Wauchope and Port Macquarie.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The site is very private, spacious, and well maintained, with clean and tidy camp areas that are easy to set up in. It was also easy to find and conveniently located close to Wauchope, which made access simple while still feeling peaceful and secluded.
We stayed with an 11-foot caravan and had no issues with space or access. The grounds are clearly cared for and overall the property is set up well for campers wanting a quiet and comfortable stay.
One small improvement would be signage for the different camp areas, as there are multiple sites available and clearer area names would make navigation a bit easier on arrival.
River access was more limited than advertised, likely due to flooding in 2025, so this is something future campers should be aware of. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
A great spot and one we’d happily stay at again.

We spent 7 nights staying on the Fruit Tree Gully site in our motorhome. We found the site great for us. It is towards the end of the property and is very private. It is reasonably level (level enough for our levelers to work). Each morning there were kangaroos about which was nice to wake up to. We only went down to the river once as there were campers down there and it felt intrusive going through their camp to get to the river. This wasn't a problem for us as we didn't camp there to use the river but it is worth noting for others. Overall, the spot was great for us and we had a nice relaxing week at the camp and definitely recommend it.

My son (8) and I LOVED staying here! We stayed on the epic tent site by the river. We stayed to break up a long journey and land was pretty conveniently located not too far at all off the hwy. We loved the fresh water swimming and kayaking and just adored all the beautiful friendly animals - the dogs, cows and horses. Heaps of land between sites which made it feel nice and private but also really safe - we loved our time and my son is already wanting to go back - would highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Chrissie!
The amenities are amazing and this is a well looked after spot. Fridge and even an airfreight, should that tickle your fancy. We absolutely loved the sustainable setup.
Chrissie is super-lovely, too. Our little pup made some new friends with her dogs (thanks for the play dates!).
The beaches are a few minutes drive away, heaps of tracks around you can walk, even with your 🐕 and plenty of opportunities for coffee, shops, etc.
This is a small site, which we loved! You can hear the road in the distance, but we weren't bothered at all.
Bring some decent pegs, if you're camping as the platforms are quite firm to setup on.
