Hello Campers! Our beautiful property is located on 20 acres in a convenient location just 10 minutes out of Campbelltown. The property is a short drive to Dharawal National Park, and a great 'home base' while you explore everything the area has to offer. There are fire pits provided for campfires, given there are no fire bans or restrictions in place. If you would like to be further away you can camp near our dam which is becoming more popular as of late .If you would like to be totally tucked away in the bush we also have spots totally surrounded by bush, please let us know when booking. There is a hot outdoor shower and a toilet on site just a short walk from all the camp sites. Please take note that our dogs which love people and are super friendly wander around freely and will come and visit you, so if you do not like dogs please do not book in . The 2 campsites are very private and spacious and you your group gets exclusive use of your site whether there is just 2 of you or 20 - a fantastic feature. We used the Marabalang campsite etched between the river edged with a narrow mangrove strip and some scrub. The Gum Trees campsite is far more open, but for just 2 of us, our campsite felt wonderfully secluded. Access to paddle craft wwas great and I enjoyed a couple of hours paddle up the river in a canoe provided. The birdsong of a morning was fantastic to wake to and we saw a couple of lyre birds each day on the driveway in. The host were lovely and easy going.

Our stay with Robert was honestly amazing! The space itself was big, spotless, and really well set up. The shower?l and toilet really good. And the firepit area was such a vibe. The pool was chef’s kiss — perfect for cooling off and floating around. And the absolute stars of the place? His three adorable dogs who decided we were part of their squad and played with us the whole time. We were obsessed. Robert himself was incredibly kind, sweet, and super attentive — the kind of host who makes everything feel easy and welcoming. 100% recommended

We had an awesome time camping here! Robert was very welcoming, knowledgeable and super friendly. We took our motorhome out for its first rodeo and found the site peaceful with great amenities and easy access. The pool and friendly dogs were a bonus which our kids loved. Highly recommend!

It was perfect for our camping trip with young children. Gumtree grove was so peaceful, we loved the short walk to the river. The trampoline was a pleasant surprise and we were very grateful to have canoes to play on. Totally magical spot. Would love to go back.

What a beautiful place to stay. i couldn't reccomend it enough ! Me and my partner stayed here 2 nights while we explored sydney and we would come back again. Robert was a gem of a host and was more then happy to give us recommendations of places to eat and to visit. With 3 lovely resident dogs: Zoe, Max and Rusty, and the option to have a campfire, our stay was welcoming and cosy. The facilities were clean and functioning and the grass where we pitched our tent was flat and bindi free. If you're looking for a comfortable stay, this is 100% the place

Love the place it’s spacious and easy to find. It was raining on the day we arrive but we used the space in the shed to hangout. All the amenities were clean and there’s toilet on site. We did not use the bathroom so no comment on the shower 😃.

We had a great stay. Robert is a very friendly and welcoming host with lots of information about the area and he gave us fishing line to catch yabbies! The property is beautiful, tidy and quiet. Having a toilet and shower available is amazing. The animals, especially the 3 dogs Rusty, Zoe and Max, were so nice to have around. We miss them already! 100% recommend this Hipcamp.

Great site- greeted with a sign with our name on it, a nice fire pit and lovely peaceful vibe only 15 mins-ish from Campbelltown- couldn’t believe how quiet it was! Robert is a very friendly host, with three super lovely dogs who would love nothing more than to hang around your camp quietly all day accepting pats. Shower and toilet is in good condition, Robert has lit up the path so you can easily find your way at night. We didn’t use our fire pit but were offered firewood, and Robert took a lot of care to make sure we had a great stay. Genuinely will seek this spot out anytime we want to travel to Sydney- we felt very comfortable leaving our set up and attending an event in Sydney CBD, only about 55 minutes away - for a great price, a really peaceful vibe and great location this is probably the best place you could camp if you want to be close to Sydney

Where to go

The Blue Mountains

A popular day trip for Sydneysiders and visitors alike, the Blue Mountains are characterised by massive cliffs, caves, and gorges as well as sprawling bushland that provides habitat for all sorts of creatures. The area is particularly popular with rock climbers and hikers, but plenty of people come here just to take in the dramatic views.

Lane Cove National Park

A short drive from Manly, this national park offers hiking trails, picnic areas, and a creek--plus boat rentals for those who want to get out on the water. Its proximity makes for an easy day trip, but there are plenty of spots to camp and glamp both in the park and in its immediate vicinity.

Royal National Park

Just south of Sydney, Royal National Park offers over 100 kilometres of walking tracks, some with exceptional views out over the ocean. Head to the park's Audley Boatshed to hire a kayak for a day of paddling on Kangaroo Creek.

When to go

Manly offers pleasant weather throughout the year, with hot summers that get a fair bit of rain and pleasantly warm (and slightly drier) winters. Autumn and winter offer the best surfing conditions, and June in particular is considered ideal for surfing. If you like jazz, it's worth visiting during the October Long Weekend holiday, when the annual Manly International Jazz Festival takes place.
