Visitors enjoy: the pristine river; walking tracks through diverse terrain; starry night skies and campfires. Previous guests recommend staying at least two nights to soak up the atmosphere and explore the area. Choose from the 'Ant Shack' or four adjacent campsites with easy access and views to the Nymboida River. Shared facilities include a hot shower and composting toilets. We can’t accommodate domestic animals or allow fishing, not even catch and release because we protect our wildlife and the endangered Eastern Cod. Black Mountain is remote but just 60 kilometres from Grafton or Coffs (via back way). 2WD access to our house is from Nymboida only. 4WD/AWD from Lowanna or Glenreagh and 4WD/AWD down to the river/campsite area - Not suitable for caravans. Shower off with in the sandstone and copper outdoor gas hot water shower while staring out into the bushland. Keep quiet at night to experience the wallabies and possums who live on the property and come in to feed. Spend the evenings staring up at the night sky, with no light pollution as a result of being situated in the middle of 100acres of bush, the stars will be a whole new experience! ✨ For those winter evenings, use the fire pit responsibly to toast some marshmallows and share some quality connection with one another sharing stories and making memories. Alternatively cost up to the indoor fireplace. Look no further than the Lawrence tavern, a short 10 minute drive for your lunch and dinners, right on the river with excellent food, be sure to make a booking. Alternatively cook on the fire, use the bbq or your own camp cooking set up. Please ensure to take all rubbish with you, there is no bin collection to the property through council and by not storing and taking your rubbish you put our wildlife at risk. Garbage bags are on site for you to use and take your rubbish with you. There is a bin at the Lawrence park and river. You are situated 1hr inland from Yamba and the beaches, 30mins from Grafton as a local main hub and 35mins from Maclean. While in the area why not do a spot of fishing while the kids play at the Lawrence park which overlooks the Clarence River and jetty. Fuel and an excellent general store is located at Lawrence General store with a coffee cart open most mornings. So say yes to some down time. Explore the region and come back to a beautiful 100acre slice of quiet bush paradise. Camping toilets are available on site or bring your own. Soon to be upgraded to a composting toilet.

There are basic cooking implements, cutlery and crockery as well as a large green water tank for washing and drinking. 2) Modern 'eco' house A large (486 m2) open area with an upstairs, fully fly-screened, mezzanine area (lockable) with 3 bedrooms (queen, king single and single). Downstairs there is a dining table, a kitchenette with kettle, toaster, induction cooker (and cookware), a deep bath tub, outside shower area and composting toilet. Drive in to undercover parking and enjoy the (covered) outdoor lounge area around the fire pit. There's easy access to the large veggie garden to pick fresh herbs and greens for your culinary creations! Morinokoe is a place of peace and privacy that provides a balance between convenience, security (friendly neighbourhood) and accessibility and the peace and quiet of being deep in the forest (where you can walk or ride your bike straight into the national park). Outdoor Adventure: Kayak, swim, fish, or bike—there’s plenty to do! Campfires & Stargazing: End your day by the fire, gazing at the stars above. Please note, we currently welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own toilet, shower, and drinking water. UPDATE: We do have 1 flush toilet available for all our guests on the property nearby the Homestead. Pets are welcome as long as they are well-behaved, and if your pet tends to chase livestock, they’ll need to be leashed. If the fire baths are your calling card, book Swan Lake. Our property is 2WD & 4WD accessible, with 4WD caravans and camper trailers welcome. We do have plenty of 2WD sites available as well. The Nymboida Tiny Yoga Retreat sits on 200 acres of pristine forest in a private subtropical valley, at the foothill hinterland of the Great Divide near Coffs Harbour NSW. We offer camping and indoor accommodation. Our property is totally secluded, we have a fruit orchard and vegetable garden, with camping available away from the house in your own secluded area. There is a dam to swim in. Relax around the crackling campfire in the evenings as you gaze at the night skies. Please note campfires are subject to firebans. There are bush walking trails, forest views, plenty of National Parks nearby in millions of acres of forest. Kayaking is available on the Nymboida River. The Retreat is vegan, vegetarian and there is a no meat, no alcohol, no drug policy. Yoga and meditation classes, massage, Ascension healing also available. Catering vegan meals also possible.
