Our family have lived at ‘Edgecote’ for eighteen years. We are predominantly horse breeders and trainers, however have some cattle and many dogs. We love the great outdoors and especially enjoy this ‘bottom paddock’ because of all the trees and the bird life. The dam gives the space a cool feel and a place for dogs to swim and retrieve.

Absolutely lovely camp site that we would definitely recommend! There's no designated spots, but we were lucky as there was only us and one other set of campers that were there for the night, and the site is big enough that we were far away from each other and never heard them (or could even see them as we set our camp up facing the water). The site was beautiful, with so many birds around (and the odd rogue cow that came to say hello), with an amazing sunset as a bonus. I'd definitely book a stay here again!

Nice relaxing spot right in the lake. The field is full of prickles but on the flat area where the camp spot is there is a lot less. The lake is stunning, full of swans, ducks & turtles. We even had a few fish jumping out in front of us.
The communication from the host was good but the instructions to the campsite were average. We had to confirm the exact spot with the host as the GPS pin was not near the campsite.

Beautiful spot, very quiet and serene. Owners were lovely and kind, gave clear directions on how to get there and where to camp. Plenty of firewood supplied. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

After a week on the road and a new campsite each night this one was our favourite. We had the place to ourselves and there was plenty of firewood available. Quiet, serene location within nature.
The outhouse toilet is a nice touch!
We hope to be back.

Beautiful and tranquil. Amazing views of the sunsetting over farmlands and the distant mountains. Plenty of space to camp by the dam. Susie was welcoming and ensured we had what we needed. Fire pit provided with complementary fire wood. Toilet neat and clean.

Hugh private dam/lake ( 150 acc,s) filled with black swans, pelicans , turtles ,other Wildlife ,great for kayaking/ filled with fish , camping best near old willow trees or cabin . Some hunting by approval by Matt , property covers over 1000 ACC's with Angus cattle everywhere in paddocks , camping area just needs a slash/ mow

Susie and Earl have a simple but lovely set up.
20 mins out of town, with a quirky toilet we were completely on our own and enjoyed beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
We had an issue with our camper and Susie was very helpful
