Nested in the Coffs Harbour hinterland is this stunning 250 acre property, offering both powered and unpowered site options and great facilties over 2 campsites. Wayper Creek flows though the property, and there are manicured lawns, a large toilet and shower block with hot showers, a caravan dump point, a large BBQ shelter, firepit, and lots of lovely spots to enjoy the plethora of wildlife. During holiday season we have a second campsite opened, which has lovely amenities, too. We regularly have abseilers come down our creek, as a set of 7 waterfalls is only a 60-minute hike through the creek away. It is a stunning place for relaxation. With limited phone reception. At The Good Life, we’re big on personal space. Every campsite is large, private and genuinely secluded, giving you the feeling you’re a long way from everyone and everything. Your own patch of paradise. No caravan awnings poking you in the eye, no surprise drop-ins, and no listening to your neighbour’s snoring, generator or life story. Bliss. Forget your phone alarm. Your morning wake-up call is the local kookaburra choir having a proper laugh at life. This is a true back-to-nature escape for anyone needing to pull up a stump, slow right down and properly unplug. If bird watching, stargazing or simply doing sweet nothing is your idea of a good time, you’ll fit right in. Dogs are very welcome. Keep them on a lead while you’re wandering the property, then let them be their goofy, happy selves back at camp. Campfires are practically mandatory. Every site has its own fire pit, and if you burn through your firewood faster than a pollie breaks a promise, we can sort you out with more for a small fee. Now for a quick reality check. We’re not the Hilton. In fact, we don’t provide any amenities at all. No toilets, no showers, no bins. Think of The Good Life as a safe, private slice of bush that feels like the middle of nowhere, because it pretty much is. You’ll need to be fully self-contained and take everything you bring in back out with you. Leave only footprints and good memories. What you do with your time is entirely up to you. Park yourself in a camp chair with a book, wander the farm, or lace up your boots and explore around 70 acres of bush tracks. When night falls, the stars put on a serious show and the silence is so complete you can actually hear yourself think. There’s no phone service and no Wi-Fi. Consider it a feature, not a bug. It’s the perfect excuse to ignore your emails. If you feel like venturing out, the Orara Valley and Coffs Coast offer stunning rainforests, beaches, waterfalls and swimming holes, all within a 30-minute drive.

Spectacular views in a rural setting with fields, ranges and the magnificent Orara River. The serenity of this amazing relaxing country setting will leave you spell bound. Our location is a relaxing and scenic 20 minute drive to some of the best local beaches on the Mid North Coast of Australia.On our property we have cows and goats and an abundance of wild birdlife.  The property offers a delightful walk to the Orara River, with the opportunity of catching Bass in season, and also a great possibility of catching sight of the odd platypus or two. Here you will have the opportunity for surfing, swimming, snorkelling, fishing, and just relaxing and absorbing in the outstanding surrounds of this beautiful part of the world.  If you don't feel the desire to cook then it's just 3 minutes down the road to the town of Nana Glen, where the famous Idle Inn Cafe and local 2 Tails Winery are located.A little further up the road, north 13 minutes is the Giant Golden Dog Statue right along side the iconic Golden Dog Hotel, in the town of Glenreagh.

What an incredible site...certainly was an oasis. Excellent facilities and the setting was amazing. The availability of a washing machine and airer was so welcome. The directions should simply say drive along the track after going through the gateway until the track ends. I would certainly recommend the site.

Nice quiet camp site, with plenty of room and good amenities. The creek was lovely, perfect way to cool down and refresh on a hot summers day. I was a bit concerned booking during school holidays, that it may be busy but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Directions to the property made it easy to find. Thanks for having us!

Perfect location, only 15mins from freeway and main shops. Neat and tidy campsite with concrete slab and to top it off, they prepared a superbly clean bathroom for us. Rob and Karel were very accommodating with our adhoc travel plans and we can’t thank them enough.

Had a great stay Here. We were greeted by both host upon arrival and shortly after. Only downside was that there was no signal where we were staying, and they only offer 10 amp for electrical. But that was said when we booked. Overal was great for a night !

Awesome green huge area with enough space for everyone. We were a bit worried about the place would be overcrowded, but the number of visitors after 4th of Jan were very minor (about 15). The sites could be picked up under shade and on the sunny spots. Access to the creek is awesome to have a refreshing bath. Toilet area is kept clean. There’s laundry area as well. Drinking water is also available.
