Dunedoo Campsite + Self Contained Cabin

Stay in our small town of Dunedoo and experience famous country hospitality. We have a large block offering simple backyard camping, conveniently close to town. Dunedoo is on the newly formed Central West Cycle trail. Why not stop in here for a night on your way through? If you don't have room on your bike for a tent, hire one of ours and we'll set it up for you! We're also on the Silo Art Trail - so a great place for photographers and art enthusiasts! We have a flat, grassy lawn to pitch your tent or small caravan/camper. There is access to power if needed. We also have a fire pit you are welcome to use when not in fire restriction periods. Firewood can be made available by pre-arrangement. We also offer a self-contained cabin known as "The Caddy Shack." We only ever take guests for either the Caddy Shack or the camping, never both unless you are all part of the same group. There's an outside toilet and shower beside the cabin. We are within walking distance to the town centre, and also close to the golf course, tennis court and sporting amenities. No dogs, please.

Cadagi Farm Stay in Central West NSW

A tranquil 85 acre property with multiple options for your stay, along the banks of the Talbragar River or by wooded areas bordering the beautiful Scrubby Creek. 

The sites are self-service with no amenities currently available, so best suited to those happy to be self-sufficient and with a 'leave no trace' approach. 

All sites offer bushwalking options (maps can be provided via email), an abundance of native flora and fauna including wild birds, the occasional echidna and wombats.

You'll also find sheep and cattle meandering around the paddocks, along with our horses and free ranging peacock. We also have a super friendly kelpie and dachshund pup making the farm feel complete. 

Dogs are welcome &; we have stables or individual paddocks available if you'd like to bring your equine friends (no riding on the property due to insurance).

Only 15 minutes to the centre of town & is a great base for your visit to Dubbo.

Located on the Sydney side of Dubbo, it's an easy place to pull up on your travels and we look forward to your visit.

Mount Terrace

Mt Terrace is a 2500 acre property hidden in the Warrumbungle mountains, it supports a wide variety of animals and bush land to explore as well as creeks, waterfalls and its own mountain range. Surrounded by the Warrumbungle national park & Australia's only sky park, it has a lot to offer and explore.Enjoy piece and quiet with a selection of 3 camp sites to choose from, you'll have pleny of space and privacy.  Access is relatively easy you will not need a 4wd but low city cars are not suitable . Fires are permitted in designated areas and within season.Pets are allowed.All campers must have their own supplies and be self sufficient as we do not supply any amenities, camper trailers are welcome however we do not accept caravans at this stage.Come check us out!

Luken Park

We are located close to Dubbo, just off the Newell Highway. Use this campsite as a base and explore the region, or stop over for the night. Your property will be safe while you're out visiting the local attractions including Western Plains Zoo, Old Dubbo Jail, or Naramine. We have a 100 acres of pasture with lots of Wattle. We run horses, sheep and other farm animals. We have several vacant paddocks at any one time. Camp any ware on the property you wish (depending on weather and stock) or in a parkland type setting within view of the house. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. You must have your own amenities. Tank (drinking) water is available at the house. Relax around the campfire in the evenings as you enjoy the stars in the night sky. The country is reasonably flat and accessible for any type of vehicle. There are areas of mown parkland settings or rough paddocks. You can choose where to set up, the paddock areas can be slashed if required.Pets are welcome.

KANGAROO CREEK CAMP DUBBO

30 acres fenced off for Hip camp. other 40 acres fenced off for cattle.

5 private sites on or near sandy creek bed. Lots of bird life and views of the odd cow. 

Closest hip camp to Dubbo township and Zoo.  5 to 7 kms to Zoo and Town centre. 5 minute drive to the Zoo.

5kms to 27 hole golf course. 3 kms to Delroy Park Shopping centre.

Some days you can hear the lions and monkeys from the zoo

Lots of Kangaroos on site.  Lots of Birdlife ( Eastern Rosellas , Grass Parrots, Willy Wag Tails, Kestrals , Currawongs, Quail , Kookaburras, Magpies , Blue wrens etc.

Land was previously a sheep station but nature is slowly reclaiming it. We have been here six years and have seen hundreds of native trees come back through not overgrazing and fencing off bushland. 

Dry sandy creek bed (good for kids to explore) , except during floods. Lots of shady gumtrees.

2km grassy walk around fence line for those looking to exercise during their stay.

Site 1 - Fire Pit and lots of small gum trees. Favourite spot for Kangaroos.
