Enjoy a picnic in the magnificent Lake Alexandra Reserve or hike up extinct volcanic peak Mount Gibraltar. The closest shops are approximately a 15 minute drive to the Mittagong Town Centre where you will find all the shops, cafes and restaurants for your needs. It is well worth a visit to ‘The Shaggy Cow’ cafe, one of our favourite foodie spots (don’t forget to mention Elouera Vale). While you're here please try the Cool Climate wines. We had such a lovely stay at Hope’s view cabin! Carol was very warm and sweet. She even let us picked grapefruits from her garden and gave us some eggs from her hens, which was such a thoughtful touch. Her hospitality is truly exceptional. The cabin itself is cozy, spotless, and feels like home. There’s so much to explore and do on her beautiful property, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

A well-kitted out hut in beautiful surroundings - a forest glade with all sorts of gorgeous details to explore (signs & mini ponds & benches; fruit trees and night lights). It was fun to use the fire pit at night to toast marshmallows. Tammy and Carol were very friendly and have made a book of local sights.

Beautiful spot with the most amazing view from the cabin. Lots of birds to watch. Lovely rustic cabin with warming fire. Our dog loved swimming in the billabong by the sauna. Ash was very responsive, couldn’t have asked for more.

The cabin was spacious enough for 4 adults and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. The kitchenette was well-equipped, and the bedding and towels were provided, which made things easier. We only wish we could have stayed longer to try the BBQ, campfire and explore the area - something to look forward to next time! Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

I stayed with my partner and 2 dogs. The log cabin was wonderful, has all the amenities you need surrounded by nature. Loved waking up and sitting outside on the deck with a coffee with the view of the trees. It was so peaceful! Ash and Ellie were the perfect hosts and made sure we were comfortable!
