We run a sheep farm on our property located north east of Dubbo. This is the land of big sky country. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular here along with starry nights, beside the campfire especially when the full moon arrives. It is nothing short of amazing as you marvel at the sights from the verandah of The Tiny Home or from your campsite. Not far from our property you’ll find the Goonoo CCA Zone 1 National Park. CCA Zone parks are Community Conservation Areas reserved as national parks. The greater Dubbo region offers many activities for tourists, adventure seekers and nature lovers. The Tiny House is fully self-contained with a fold out double bed and a little kitchenette featuring a fridge, cookware and utensils and a BBQ. The bathroom/laundry are separate. We also offer a campsite for additional family members or friends. You're welcome to go for a swim in the dam which is a short walk away, or take a stroll to the top of the rocky hill to see 360 degree views. Meet the locals (emus) or see the sheep being shorn if your booking coincides at the same time. Pets are by special request only.

This Homestead is set on 22 acres, just a short drive from the home of the Black Stump at Weetaliba, NSW. Camping under the stars is a must here as you are able to star-gaze at Australia's first Dark Sky Park. The homestead has 3 separate paddocks each with their own dam where you can have total privacy during your camp. Although you may have a visit from the resident sheep who graze the pastures (don't worry - they are friendly). A perfect place for bird watching an array of native birds including rosellas, cockatoos, and currawongs and you will hear the kookaburras every morning and evening. There are also kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas who roam the area. It's a beautiful place to snap a pic especially if you catch the morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets which are guaranteed to wow you. Do as little or as much as you want to on your stay. A perfect place to just unwind and take in the fresh country air and beautiful views. Stroll around the property and visit the old barn and some of the sheds and farming equipment that are scattered among the paddocks. You will have access to composting toilets or feel free to BYO facilities. Campfires are welcome in the pits provided, permitting there are no restrictions at the time of your visit. Dogs are welcomed as long as they are supervised and kept indoors at night. Being within 20 minutes to the local town of Coolah, it's a perfect stop over for an overnight stay or for a long weekend. Then property is set 600 metres back from a quiet rural road, accessed via a gravel driveway. It is nestled at the foot of Mount Knowles, and includes over 300 acres of bushland in addition to approx 30 acres of formal gardens and mown paddocks, one of which has a pretty dam. All areas have expansive rural views. We offer a basic bush site for self-contained campers and a fully-contained caravan. At Bushman's Camp we welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. You must have your own amenities. Campsites are accessible for 2WDs and we welcoming camping vehicles. You may need to level your vehicle for a comfortable night’s sleep. There are a few options for camping. The land is undulating with flat spots, with open grassy areas peppered with gum trees. Other parts are more heavily wooded with gums and natives. Our caravan comes complete with water, electricity, toilet, 2 double beds, dining area and kitchen. The caravan can sleep 4 guests. Next to the caravan there is room for a further tent, van, trailer or motorhome if desired, for a $35 flat fee. Please add extra guests when booking. Outside the caravan, there is a beautiful sandstone ringed fire pit, BBQ, covered picnic tables, chairs, lighting and some firewood available. You will need to bring your own bed linen and towels. Campfires are permitted at all our listings when not in fireban season so bring your marshmallows! There are lovely views of the valleys and mountains beyond, and you’ll really enjoy the sunsets. No pets please.

We loved our stay in the beautiful Belle tent on Lisa’s farm. We had everything we needed, the tent has its own (very clean) drop toilet, hot shower and camp kitchen that included a large bbq and even a tucker box fridge that kept our food cool. It was a heat wave when we arrived and Lisa suggested a swim in the dam that was a life saver. Our kelpie Chester loved every minute and especially the friendly morning visit from Lisa’s beautiful kelpie Arthur.

My daughter had a great time playing with the farm animals. Lisa and Dan were super friendly and accommodating. We had fresh eggs to eat daily. This was our first camping trip. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The accommodation was very private. Night time we had a camp fire and watched the stars. We loved our stay.

Weekend Trip to Lisadan Cottage and Homestead

Lisa and Dave have done an incredible job creating a one of a kind retreat on the property (genuinely were caught off guard how nice it was). The tent is spacious and styled and they made my partner and I feel at home as soon as we got there. We originally booked as a stop between Glen Innes and Canberra so had low expectations and wish we had left more time just to enjoy it! We went to the pub for dinner however the cooking set up was excellent and we would definitely bring food next time if we hadn't got caught out with public holidays limiting our shopping options although the lower pub put on a great feed. Definitely say hello to the animals they have there, the donkeys in particular were friendly and keen to say hello. Would highly recommend and stay again in the future!
