We loved our stay in the beautiful Belle tent on Lisa’s farm. We had everything we needed, the tent has its own (very clean) drop toilet, hot shower and camp kitchen that included a large bbq and even a tucker box fridge that kept our food cool. It was a heat wave when we arrived and Lisa suggested a swim in the dam that was a life saver. Our kelpie Chester loved every minute and especially the friendly morning visit from Lisa’s beautiful kelpie Arthur.

Lisa was an amazing host and the livestock were friendly.
Very peaceful spot and good amenities. Tent was beautiful with everything one could need for a comfortable night.

Lisa and Dan are such kind friendly people and our stay was beautiful and relaxing! The animals are a bonus and the views at sunset around the BBQ are great! Our sleeping quarters were large and the bed super comfortable- can’t wait to go back!

My daughter had a great time playing with the farm animals. Lisa and Dan were super friendly and accommodating. We had fresh eggs to eat daily.
This was our first camping trip. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The accommodation was very private. Night time we had a camp fire and watched the stars.
We loved our stay.

Lovely quiet spot with a variety of animals making it interesting. Winston the donkey (I think that was his name) was particularly curious - a real character. I enjoyed my stay.

We had a great time at Lisa and Dan’s. They were really welcoming and accommodating. The farm is beautiful and the animals are lovely. Sitting by a fire, by the dam, amongst the gum trees was a delight. 10/10 would recommend.

Brooke’s Dam camping ground
We are a family of 4, myself, my husband and our two sons, aged 10 and 12. This farm was beautiful. The hosts waited for us to arrive to feed their little lambs, and we were introduced to all the farm animals (at our request) before we got to our site. The two friendly donkeys kept their distance but stayed within eye sight of our van. We enjoyed a fire in the pit provided, there was plenty of wood around to collect and use. The grass was cut short within the camping area and the path. There was a drop toilet and little camp kitchen also. It was very lovely, quiet and peaceful! You couldn’t really see the house from the camp ground - giving it a very tranquil feel.
We will definitely be back - but hope to stay longer next time!

Lisa and Dave have done an incredible job creating a one of a kind retreat on the property (genuinely were caught off guard how nice it was). The tent is spacious and styled and they made my partner and I feel at home as soon as we got there. We originally booked as a stop between Glen Innes and Canberra so had low expectations and wish we had left more time just to enjoy it! We went to the pub for dinner however the cooking set up was excellent and we would definitely bring food next time if we hadn't got caught out with public holidays limiting our shopping options although the lower pub put on a great feed.
Definitely say hello to the animals they have there, the donkeys in particular were friendly and keen to say hello. Would highly recommend and stay again in the future!

The campsite was very secluded and peaceful while the star gazing was outstanding. Lisa the host was very welcoming and invited the kids to participate in feeding the lambs on the farm which they loved.

I loved the space and attention to detail in our site, we were surprised to discover the fairylights cone nightfall. And the hosts were amazing! So inclusive, so we could feel the lambs and cuddle the kittens, but we could have opted to have a quiet stay if we needed. We'll be back.

This site will be lovely in winter with a fire. The dark skies are amazing and a great stop for an astronomy fan. Really appreciate the toilet and water. Great hosts.
