Wyangala Dam and village are nearby with access to water sports, fishing and nature walks. Elliot's Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and back waters. The Cowra township is 20 minutes drive and worth a visit .
Reflections Holiday Park shop at the dam general supplies, coffee and hot food.
REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN CAMPS offers camping with fantastic views. Plenty of space to go for a scenic hike, lots of wildlife including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 14 designated camping areas to set up your camp, or why not try the revelstone TEPEE TENT adventure, or maybe the TWIN HAMMOCK camp. please do not cut down or use any standing trees even if they look dead as they are a mountain feature.

This campsites are suited for campers who are self-contained, with own camping or toilet/shower amenities and water supply. We offer 8 spacious campsites as well as a self sufficient cabin overlooking stunning sunset views to the west of our property. We also have a communal flushable toilet for our campers for those who don't have their own camp toilets.
Escape the busy city life and come light a campfire and watch the sunrise and sunset, enjoy the amazing views, wildlife and keep an eye out for koalas in the trees.
Bathurst is known for motorsports thanks to Mount Panorama, one of the world’s most famous circuits. It hosts a number of international racing events, including the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 1000. When it's not being used for a race, the public can take a spin around the course and visit wineries along the track.
Visit the National Motor Racing Museum, right next to the track. The Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum boasts a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery is home to a wonderful collection of Australian paintings and contemporary artworks.
Spend the day in Bathurst by seeing many of the amazing sites including the famous Ben Chiffley Dam and spend the day on the water and even a short drive to Rockley to visit the famous pub now owned by Matt Moran.
Bathurst has many local wineries and distillerys but make sure to head on over to reckless brewery.

Revelstone is a really unique and well thought-out campsite with everything you could need. The teepee is super comfy and sunset views are fantastic! Great for dogs too but there is wildlife there too so do keep them on a lead. Graeme was an excellent host throughout and really helpful. Will definitely be back!

Camped at Dulce Vita. Beautiful views..distant mountains...sheep and goats in the paddock next door but especially a family of wedge tail eagles who must live close by. Magnificent. It was a fairly level site but not flat and would offer some shade in summer. Our stay was in May so pretty cold but plenty of sun on this site and a nice time of year as there are no flies and the Autumn colours of trees on the road to Bathurst make the drive to and from memorable. We had a nosy at the other sites so we knew where to stay next time. The sites mostly face east so you get the beautiful morning sun but if you want to escape the arvo heat then Hill View...Koala Hill...Wooden Valley....Back Creek would offer some shade. Next time we return in winter we would stay at Mountain View. Nice big flat site..tucked away privately in the corner of the paddock with sun all day.
We needed good Optus phone coverage which we got. Overall a great stay and look forward to another visit.
As a side note..make sure you stop at FoodWeDo...just on the outskirts of Bathurst on the way to Mt Testa. Great pies and superb in house baked pastries. Perfect for around the fire later that evening. You wont be sorry.

Was a lovely little spot, we managed to get a spot with some trees for some privacy and shade. Awesome fire pit and plenty of wood around to burn. Short drive or long walk to flushing toilets! Have already recommended to family and friends and will be back for sure! Host very accomodating too

Amazing, remote, tranquil, relaxing. My kids and I had a ball. Teaching 8 yr olds how to set up a swag, fetch firewood, build and light a fire, spot constellations and satellites, throw rocks in a dam, watch for snakes, cook without electricity...and a flushing toilet 400m away. We'll be back.
