Some of our campsites/ Van sites DO NOT come with facilities. Please read your site description carefully. We have 1 powered site that is power ONLY on our Dam site. No toilets, showers, kitchen or pool. You need to be fully self contained.
Some Campsites are in our lovely small manicured bush garden setting. It's a level, grass/lawn shaded area. There are 4x 15 amp powered sites. Suitable for small quiet groups/ families. NOT suitable for loud partying. The state forest is a short 10min drive away for bush walking, mountain biking and 4 wheel driving. Beach is
40 min drive away. We are located close to the Central Coast and Newcastle. (In Cooranbong )
Some of our camp sites have access to three eco toilets and only one shared shower, rubbish facilities and drinking water. (Campfires) we have 5 fire pits on some of our sites , fires are permitted during the winter months.
We also have 2 x 4 star cabins which sleep 15 between them, they are listed separately on Hipcamp. However the guests from both the camp sites and the cabins have shared access to the pool and facilities. Which includes a large under cover patio area.
FRIENDLY PETS welcome. On certain camp sites ourSmall kitchen with microwave dishwasher and cook top and fridge may be used . Please just clean up any mess you make. For the next guest All cleaning products under sink. WE HAVE 2 DOGS that are people friendly., who love to meet new fury friends , they do have the run of our property .
As our property has a lot of maintenance lawns /gardens ; we may use mowers blowers etc , we will possibly maintain between 10 am to 2 pm If needed.
WE HAVE A LOT OF WALLABIES RUNNING AROUND PLEASE DRIVE TO 5 KILOMETRES

Located only 8 minutes drive from the historical town of Stroud which was settled by the AA Company in the 1820's as a food growing area. There are still many beautiful buildings from that period to explore.
A dairy farm for many years, we switched over to beef around 15 years ago. Currently we run around 120 head of Angus and mixed breed cattle.
Within 3 hours drive of Sydney and around an hour from the Barrington National Parks, Newcastle, Maitland, Forster and Nelson Bay, it makes it the perfect destination for a weekend getaway!
We are offering 6 beautiful, partly shaded, camping sites along the pristine Upper Karuah River. All sites are separated for privacy and are all right on the edge of the river.
There are plenty of opportunities for bird watching, hiking, swimming, kayaking, fishing (in summer), star gazing or just relaxing.
All sites are site only and no toilet or shower facilities are provided. You will need to bring your own camping toilet or self contained caravan/ camper (dump point is located in Stroud township)

We have 250 acres in the Chichester Valley, we grow chemical-free vegetables and farm cattle. We have campsites on the Chichester River and we are in the water catchment area for the Chichester Dam. Suitable for caravans, camper trailers, tents, motor-homes etc. Good access, 4WD not required & plenty of site options.
There is no mobile reception here (unless you climb the hills!). Dogs are not permitted due to livestock. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, Firewood not available at the moment. Tank water available at the house if required. No amenities so campers must be self-contained and leave no trace. There is a dump site in Dungog Showground, bring a CHEMICAL TOILET !
All campsites are by the river, you can bring your own fire wood.

We had a wonderful four-night stay at Willowbank and couldn’t recommend it more. The site is beautifully maintained, shady, and incredibly peaceful — a perfect spot for a family getaway, even in cooler weather.
The kids had an amazing time, especially playing and dipping in the river, which was a real highlight. Jo and Ian were fantastic hosts: so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We even went on a lovely little walk around the property, which was lovely.
A beautiful spot with great hosts — we’d happily stay again.

Weekend Trip to Willowbank
Jo and Ian were delightful to meet. They showed us to our space and were very engaging and helpful. They even explained where the shade would be at different times of the day which fantastic considering it was 40’
She Oaks was our first hipcamp and we are sold. It was serene, secluded and a few steps from the Karuah river which we swam all day and night. Tip- take water shoes. We will be back.

We stayed at the Rapids campsite and it lived up to its reputation…
Perfect for keeping cool in the warm weather and beautiful to fall asleep listening to the water run over the rocks.
Jo was friendly and professional, escorts you to your site, sites are well maintained a little dusty due to the hot weather and lack of rain.
We enjoyed our stay but unfortunately cut it short true to the extreme heat wave.
We will be back!!!

Peace , quiet and a river to float and relax in was exactly what we needed after the chaos of xmas. The dog has a blast too!
Old Ceder was very private and exclusive even though there were plenty of other campers nearby.

We loved camping at Willow tree!!! What a fabulous spot for children & families. The camps are lovely and spacious, generously spread out between camps that there is lots of privacy. The river is perfect for young children to swim in. The kids loved watching cows, listening to the birds and try to spot the platypus.
Our lovely host Jo was warm, welcoming and hospitable to us from the second we arrived.
We will definitely be coming back to Willow Tree again soon!!

Very beautiful and peaceful spot next to the river, surrounded by hills and grassy paddocks. Roaming cattle and shady trees add to the attraction for this place, which we will surely return to. We had the entire site of Long Flat to ourselves which was great, though next time we will likely return with some other friends knowing that we can again enjoy the entire site for ourselves. Big enough for five or six families with room to spread out still, and easy access into the river for a cooling off dip.
Joanne met us as we arrived and escorted us to the site along the paddock trails, showed us the full site, introduced us to the extent of their land
and gave us a run down of their cattle operation. She was very friendly, interesting, and a delight to talk to. Her two dogs that follow at her side were both very happy, and the little guy was friendly with both our dog and our boy.
Ten minutes out of Stroud where the Milk Bar with its delicious food and authentic country town atmosphere, the antiquities shop, and the Butcher, were all being must visit places.
All up the stay was very exactly what we were looking for, if perhaps just not quite long enough.
