Nestled on 125 acres on the outskirts of Gidgegannup, Jinjarra Homestead offers an authentic bush and cattle farm camping experience only 25 minutes from Midland. This peaceful retreat is perfect for those looking to reconnect with nature, enjoy some quiet time, and experience the beauty of Western Australia’s fauna, ecosystems and biodiversity. Beyond the property, Gidgegannup has much to offer. Just a short drive away, you’ll find the iconic Noble Falls stunning waterfall with scenic picnic areas and walking trails. The nearby Lake Leschenaultia provides more opportunities for hiking, swimming, paddle boarding and mountain bike riding. For wine lovers, the Swan Valley wine region is within easy reach, home to some of Western Australia’s finest wineries, local produce, and artisanal food experiences. Please inform me if you intend to arrive later than 6pm or leave before 8am. • Please respect check-in and check-out times if not organised prior. • Please be respectful to our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 8pm. • In the event of a catastrophic bush fire rating or total fire ban, the property will close and we ask that you reconsider your stay if you have booked. This spacious campsite provides a perfect balance of open space and natural shade, making it ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat in nature. Wake up to the sight of kangaroos grazing in the misty morning light and watch them return in the evening as the sun sets behind the trees. The surrounding paddocks are home to grazing cows and sheep. Whether you're looking to relax under a canopy of stars or explore the beauty of the Australian bush, The Grove is a perfect getaway for nature lovers, families, and groups. Disconnect, unwind, and immerse yourself in the sounds of the forest and the peaceful rhythm of the land. 🍻 Area is suitable for groups 🍻 👶 Children under 2 are free (do not add to booking)👶 Please note: - This site is 'private', it is located 300m from hay and machinery shed, we usually drive down around sunset to the feed and check livestock. - No campfires permitted during prohibited burning season: October 1st to May 1st. - We rotationally graze our livestock in every paddock, we clean the site of animal droppings, but the surrounding area may have some droppings. - Generators are allowed, unless there is a Total Fire Ban. Generators must be off between 8pm and 7am. - The site is not visible to the main residence or neighbours residences, - Tractor and vehicle movement noise can be expected, however not frequent, - Please no driving around paddocks, limit to only to and from campsite, - Cows and sheep are in next adjacent paddock, please no feeding.

🐕 Pets allowed at this site 🐕 Sunset Flats is a peaceful 10-acre retreat bordered by a beautiful jarrah bush on one side and sweeping open paddocks on the other. The site offers stunning panoramic views—you can see up to a kilometre in one direction across the rolling farmland, making it perfect for sunrise coffees and sunset wines. At night, the skies come alive—far from city lights, Sunset Flats is ideal for stargazing. Wildlife lovers will enjoy visits from red-tailed black cockatoos, owls, eagles, falcons, kangaroos, and even the occasional fox or rabbit. You might also spot our cows grazing in the distance or sheep roaming the neighbouring paddocks. A few well-placed trees near the site offer natural privacy, and you’ll have the whole paddock to yourself, making it feel like your own private slice of the countryside. We had a fantastic stay at Jinjarra Estate! If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place. The starry nights are absolutely breathtaking, and having our own campfire each evening made the experience even more special. We loved exploring the property with our dog, Buddy, enjoying a trip to Noble Falls nearby, and watching the farm owners safely carry out a huge bonfire burn-off, it was an unforgettable sight. The property is peaceful, well maintained, and the hospitality is always welcoming. We also enjoyed some amazing camp cooking, making it a weekend we’ll be talking about for a long time. Thank you for another wonderful stay. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and can’t wait to come back!

Vanessa was very responsive and helpful. The camp area was absolutely awesome with heaps of natural bushland, native birdlife, clean campsite and privacy. I had 4 x working Kelpies with me and Vanessa made them very welcome and being the only guest, they were allowed to run off leash which they definitely needed after 5 hours in the car !! Thanks for a wonderful overnight stay

Myself, hubby and our dog have been many times and we will be back many times more! We always have such a peaceful and relaxing stay. Vanessa and Troy are so very lovely and the perfect hosts. So close to Perth for the quick easy weekend get away! 10/10 rating for sure!

A Hidden Gem for Families & Campers

We had such a beautiful stay here with our two families and camper trailers. The campsite was incredibly clean, well maintained and thoughtfully set up. The grounds were perfectly flat which made setting up so easy, and what we loved most was the huge amount of space between campers, it felt peaceful, private and relaxing. We dont see anyone camping in the area at all. The kids absolutely adored the cows, especially the feeding and milking experience. It made the whole trip so memorable and special for them. A huge thank you to Vanessa, the owner, who was so warm, welcoming and easy to communicate with from the very beginning. You can really feel the care and love that has gone into this place. Such a wonderful family friendly campsite and we already can’t wait to come back again!

We had a wonderful weekend at Jinjarra Homestead. The property was quiet and peaceful, away from main roads. Our site, The Grove, was private and well shaded. Vanessa was very welcoming, we had meet and greet sessions with her friendly cows. Lots of birds and kangaroos around the property too. Highly recommended for people who want peaceful campsite and love animals. Looking forward to coming back

Lots of space. Unlike some Hipcamp venues, Jinjarrah has huge paddocks set aside for one or two campsites. We could hardly see the other campers and didn't hear them at all. There were stock in the adjacent paddocks but far enough away that they didn't overstimulate our young dogs. We will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jinjarra Homestead. There was plenty of space for you to experience a piece of country life. At our stay we were lucky to meet a one day old calf, they are a lot bigger than you would think they would be and just gorgeous. The other cows didn’t miss out, we were able to do a ‘cow meet and greet’ where Vanessa and Troy provided carrots and feed, whilst educating us on their cows, of which we really enjoyed. All in all, we loved our stay.

Vanessa, Dean and Troy were very welcoming. They were there to lend a hand when we had some car troubles. The land itself is bery peacefull with a wide diversity of birds, the sheep and cows were nice to watch whilst drinking a morning coffee. We absolutely loved feeding the cows. If we are nearby in the future we will definitely stay there again.

We had a great time. Troy greeted us as we came in and showed us where to go. The site itself is tucked away in pure nature, incredibly scenic, quiet, and so peaceful. If you’re looking for a spot to unplug and just listen to the wind in the trees, kangaroos in the adjacent fields, this is it.

Our stay at Sunset Flats at Jinjarra Homestead was absolutely amazing. It’s in such close proximity, making it perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Troy and Vanessa were incredibly accommodating hosts, and the complimentary cow feeding session was an absolute treat. Highly recommend this campground — we’ll definitely be back again with some mates!

Stayed at the Sunset flat, it was great! We had the whole paddock to ourself, the sunset was beautiful, the stars amazing, we had a very peaceful and relaxing weekend… Troy and Vanessa are great host and we will definitely be back!

We were met by our lovely hosts, Vanessa & Troy on arrival . We camped at Sunset Flats for 3 nights & had 2 spectacular sunsets. We used this as a base to visit Mt Helena parkrun & explore the town of Woodbridge located on the banks of the Swan River where we were able to put our kayaks in and venture up & down parts of the Swan River.
