Great campsite! Spots are level and clean. You’re far from other campers, and each site is huge. One of the most ingenious bathrooms I’ve seen! Super well maintained.
Would recommend this to anyone in the area!

Nice quiet spot, we enjoyed out time there. The little river was good to view and having the long drops made that side of it easier. I would go back. Thanks!

Nice peaceful stay - the campsites are cleared marked and the long drop toilet was very clean. We had some alpacas visit our area in the morning which was very cute!

Rodney's camp was located in a nice gorge which was relaxing and had plenty of birds. The camp shed was convenient to be able to use and the kids enjoyed playing in the boat. The toilets were clean and well maintained. We would love to stay again.

We book site 1 but end up setting up our tent by accident on site 2. Site 2 has the best protection from the wind with tree protection.
We have realise our mistake when a fellow campers arrive. We offer to relocate, but happy to set up to different site. By the night, he spoke to me if he could park next to us as his spot expose to wind. We relocate one spot with more prime spot for wind protection for him.
Your shed we use to set up food as the site 2 is very dusty everytime the wind blows. Some old fashion games we found inside which we use to play with kids.

We had a wonderful week long stay here. The facilities were great, with clean, well-maintained toilets and everything thoughtfully set up. The setting is incredibly peaceful – waking up to birdsong and seeing the llamas around the property was such a special touch.
The location is excellent: close enough to Adelaide to be convenient, yet surrounded by nature, with so many experiences, wildlife encounters, and places to explore within an hour in every direction. Privacy was respected, and we felt completely safe throughout our stay.
The host, Rod, was responsive and genuinely helpful whenever we needed assistance, which made the whole experience feel easy and well supported. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, nature-filled getaway with great access to the best of the region.

It was a beautiful quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. Being summer it was very dry, however the long drop toilets were very clean. In the cooler weather it would be great sitting around the communal campfire. Track was a bit rough going in and out but take it easy and the serenity is worth it. My only downfall was the Red belly black bathing in the water, his habitat my phobia!

Been to this spot twice and will definitely be back. For how close it is to Adelaide, makes a weekend away so convenient. The track to the site is fairly rough and does require a larger vehicle for it to be comfortable, but the river and surrounding areas are worth the bumpy journey.

The camp was awesome, we stayed in The Carobs. The sites are closer together than I expected but we were lucky enough to have the whole camp to ourselves for most of our stay! The range of fire pits Rodney had available to borrow was awesome and having wood on site for $20 was convenient!

We had The Gums - and the rest of the camping areas all to ourselves - and it was very peaceful - with fabulous birdlife chattering, feeding, squawking - set up camp right by the creek, watched the sun go down behind an old gum tree on the bank and watched the sun rise light onto the same bank. We rolled the portable fire out to where we we had set up camp, and the very clean long drop was in walking distance, but far enough away, to where we camped.

The place is very beautiful and quiet, with the sites widely spaced, allowing for privacy between visitors. The entrance path is quite rocky and steep, so you should take it slowly and carefully. I would recommend this place for a night or a weekend getaway.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this camping site! We also loved the lil mini golf area + the other extra equipment to keep yourself amused!

This place was amazing. Just don't not book it. Peaceful, surprisingly well set up and great amenities for the otherwise self-sufficient camper. And the creek running through it?! Oh my god. Not sure if I loved that or the peaceful wallaroo hanging out on a rock up on the ridge line more. The sunrise and sunsets are gorgeous as well. Just do it. (Not with a caravan).

I was worried about the entrance since we only have a sedan car. But it’s not too bad at all. The road was rocky and steep but you’ll be fine as long as you drive slowly. We went in winter so the river is flowing and that’s the best part ❤️

Really beautiful spot. The Sticks is slightly elevated so you have great views of the area. I was tent camping and found the ground was great for tent pegs, and nice and flat. The creek was lovely, and I was lucky enough to have almond blossoms and wrens around me all afternoon.
The communal area seemed well set up. I loved the different fire drums. There was a perfect sized one for me, only needing a small cook fire, and easily maneuverable to the camp site and up to the ash pit.
Access to the site was good, easy for a 2wd.
