PORTA POTTY CLOSED FOR THE SEASON In 2015 we purchased the perfect piece of property, after realizing how badly we needed an escape from NYC. We camped here ourselves for the next few years, enjoying the land in every season. In 2018 we built a home. Now we can't wait to share the land with others! PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW. Sixty acres of magical trees, a one acre pond, and a three acre field. From the road there is a two hundred foot elevation gain to the top of the hill. Along the way are several hundred feet of rock ledges, caves, and critters. Most of the land is sloping, but the hilltop is flat as a table, with prehistoric-looking ferns under a dense canopy of mature trees. The campsites are ultra secluded- about a quarter mile apart from each other. All sites include a fire pit, cooking grate, picnic table, and sites 2&3 have platforms. Camp One is on the top of the hill, and a small car can be driven to within 150 feet of it. It is pretty flat, and surrounded by blackberry bushes, ferns, and trees. Camp Two is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV, so I consider it a hike in site. It is a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. (It has been brought to our attention that there is occasionally a group riding atvs on a neighboring property that are audible from this site. We have no control over what time it happens, so please keep this in mind) Camp Three is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area. Throughout the property, there are many quiet places to hang out, flat spots to do yoga, trails to explore, and fishing and swimming in the beautiful pond. We are also just ten minutes from the Upper Delaware River, and all it has to offer. If you have any questions or want something you don’t see here, send me a message. Instagram.com/campquiltedwoods

1 Blackberry Mesa (camp 1)
Beautiful spot near fun activities. Nicely separated campgrounds, you feel like you are on your own. Didn’t get a chance to swim in the pond but it looked inviting.

2 Swamp Butte (camp 2)
This place was fun and quaint. The pond, while advertised for swimming, I did not choose to go in. Dan is a very nice man who you can tell is passionate about sharing his land with guests. The trails around the property aren't SUPER long and there isn't a ton to do on the land itself but I still ended up having a great time staying and exploring. As advertised, Site 2 is rather loud between the ATV trail nearby and some sort of weird generator noise that comes on at random times and lasts for any given amount of time. Site 2 is also prone to bear visits, so be careful to tie up your food and trash or make the trip back to your car. The biggest upside to site 2 is that it's definitely the most isolated and I believe has the best view as well. Great time and will definitely recommend!

3 (Camp 3)
Great experience
Our family really liked staying at Daniel’s camp. We were at Site 3 and had so much fun. The site was clean, spacious, and secluded. Daniel is a great host. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had all we needed for the stay. We will definitely be back.

Can't wait to visit again
We had such a good time camping at the Blackberry Mesa site! The area was stunning, quiet, and spacious. It was very private and we couldn't see the other campsites at all. It was perfect for our pup, who was able to be off leash and explore the whole time we were there. Daniel provided everything we could need and was so kind and accommodating! We will definitely be visiting again.

2 Swamp Butte (camp 2)
I love camping here it was amazing it was our first time camping and we had campsite 2 the swap and it was superrr! Beautiful. There’s a sign that says to keep your food in the car when you’re not eating and please follow their directions because bears will come!!! The sign does not lie!! A couple bears showed up while we were cooking pretty early when they’re up and they came they didn’t bother us they just wanted the food!! They waited until we left to grab the food lol😂 please be careful. The host Daniel is such a nice person and so is his wife they immediately came when the bears came into our site and offered us to stay in campsite 3 which was also just as beautiful and we really appreciated that. It’s not their fault the bears came we overall had a great great time we just got a little spooked but everything turned out okay. One more thing the bathrooms there are super super clean it’s the best smelling porta potty I’ve ever stepped foot in. Over all this place has amazing views trails and a beautiful pond you can swim in i definitely recommend staying here just be careful with your food !! Follow the sign’s directions!!!!
