Pat Mayse Lake access is less than a mile walk from camp, and Lamar Point is just over a mile away. Each have boat ramps. The lake is perfect for boating, fishing and swimming. Drive to Barber Hills and other recreation areas along the lake for even more hiking and biking trails, boating, and swimming areas. Location of camp: 13 miles NW of Paris loop 286

Oh man! It's got plums and blackberries. Trees and wide open spaces it's a stone throw from the lake. The lake has a marina along with fishing tournaments. Noodling and traut lines are available outings as well as visiting known ghost houses. Casinos are available. But nothing beats the hospitality of the kind folks of little Dixie.
