Routine life got you feeling like you’re in a cluster? Then get out into the wide open spaces of Custer Gallatin National Forest where big skies, seemingly endless forests, and majestic mountains will give you just the breathing space and rejuvenation you need. Home to Montana’s tallest peak, hundreds of alpine lakes, foot and horse trails galore, and the Beartooth Scenic Byway (one of America’s most beautiful highways), you will find no shortage of beauty and adventure in this gigantic 3.1 million acre forest. It is also the gateway to Yellowstone National Park if you want to take your adventure even further. Once you get here you may just never want to leave this mountain paradise...that is until winter comes and seasonal closures make it very difficult to navigate. So get out there while the getting is good and the sun is shining.
