Private, relaxing oasis. Complete with surrounding cows, goats, wild turkeys and horses. Trash bin available and the port-a-potty was clean:)
The property was beautiful. Great location, quiet, peaceful, clean. The camp host were amazing, very responsive, down to earth, and friendly. Our whole family had a great time and we caught lots of fish. They provide a garbage and a porta potty on the property, which was very clean.
Everything went well super thankful to have come upon this spot

The Beach
Very cute tranquil place, we rented the beach and had a small trailer so we felt in the road but maybe make a spot for rv in the grass across so that everyone can access the beach. Other families asked to be at the beach which we were totally good with but we felt they were uncomfortable. Caught amazing fish, saw turkets, horses, cows frogs, water snakes. Its a great place for kids to catch fish. Loved it.

Beth has a beautiful place! I had it all to myself when I was there. The sound of the running water, birds, frogs and crickets was perfect!
We loved our stay at Cagle Cove! The price was great, and the pond was fully stocked. We could see the fish get close and sniff the bait! They had firewood available for purchase and I was really impressed with how clean the porta potty was. It was clear it was serviced once a week. My two kids love camping and fishing, so this was perfect while not being too far from civilization when we needed something.
What a fun little place to get away. I don't have little kids, but boy they would love it at the Cove. I'll return when I have grandkids for sure. We went to Caldwell rodeo and camped at the cove for two nights. Our spot was the Overlook. Nice, level pull through, with shade tree and water front. Nice picnic table with shade umbrella. That came in handy. Host supplies some little float boats and an aluminum little row boat. They stock the little pond with fish....Bass and perch that's what we caught and released. Fun time, only one other camper for a night, so wasn't busy when we went. It was 98 out, so.....pretty warm for camping i guess. They had some leftover wood for a fire, but we just didn't have one. No potable water or electricity, but a clean outhouse. They had a little beach area too, and some float toys for kids and play nets to catch little fish. We will return again for the rodeo next year if we can. I would recommend it if you're wanting a little place to get away for a night. The hosts were helpful and friendly to hipcamp text with. We didn't need anything, so we just pulled in and out never seeing them, which is what we wanted. So perfect. If we had needed anything they definitely would have been helpful though. We're just private people.
Do take bug spray, with water there's always lots of little buggies around.

Good spot for passing through. The host let us stay past checkout to hang, fish and work so that we much appreciated. The site itself was nice -- I woulnd't really ever plan to swim or cool off in the pond but my husband caught some huge fish so that was a highlight.

The Beach is a fantastic private oasis getaway thoroughly enjoyed on hot summer days.
Beth was a very responsive informative host with a competitive nightly rate.

We had such a fun time here! We were able to rent all the spots even though we only brought two campers and that was worth it. We enjoyed having the place to ourselves to let the kids and dogs play. Fishing was great and it felt private away from town. We will definitely be back!
Our family had a great time camping here! The pond was so much fun. We appreciated the table umbrellas, as well as the kayaks and boat that were available for us to use! We are already talking about coming back :)
A really neat spot to spend an impromptu night in the tent. Will definitely be back

Nice quiet secluded spot with a peaceful pond to fish,play, and kayak in. Nice to be able to let my dog loose and swim in pond. Enjoyed the time we spent there and would definitely stay here again.
A gem of a spot. So grateful to have had the opportunity to experience it. Beth is supportive and very responsive. Kids will love it!
Great hidden gem in the midst of rural farms.
Great directions, easy access, had the whole pond area to ourselves, Pond is down in a hollow, out of site of area farms. 5 nice campsites around pond. Great bird life in area. We spent a easy peaceful night.

This place was exactly what we needed. Brought the young grandkids who both learned to kayak for the first time, had so many fun water fights, caught a bunch of fish, and saw turkeys, pheasant, lots of quail and a great time. In the words of the grandkids; "this was the best campout ever"!

My family had a fun one night stay. Beth was super flexible and patient when we asked to swap to another spot. Our almost five year old had a blast in the pond.
Our camping spot was amazing! Clean, well maintained, had a shaded table. Our dogs had an absolute blast hanging out as we fished. We caught plenty of sunfish, and two huge rainbow trout on flies. We will have to go back next year!

Great place to go camp and the fishing is great! We have been there twice and are excited to plan the next visit!
This is a great spot that is close to Caldwell, yet feels like its in its own world. It was a great campsite, with swimming, fishing and just a peaceful setting. Had a bit of a problem that I caused and the hosts were extremely helpful in getting it fixed. Will definitely go there again.
Absolute wonderful time. Hosts were very accommodating and always super quick to respond. They went out of their way to make the trip possible for us after unforeseen issues before our trip. The entire pond area is well kept and fishing was hot! Pinch those barbs so you don’t ruin it for others. Cleanest outhouse ever, on site was added bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again in the future and likely will! Highly recommend.

One of my favorite parts of camping at Cagle Cove was listening to the frogs croaking around the pond at night. Their sounds had me laughing several times. We stayed at the Beach campsite with a nice sandy beach making it very convenient and easy to get in the water. Several variety of fish are stocked in the pond for fishing. The atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful outdoor camping experience. The combination of the amazing pond and the hilarious sounds of the frogs at night made this a truly memorable camping experience.

The pond is Awesome! We had a blast fishing, swimming and hanging out. Super clean and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a short or long stay close to town!
Wonderful experience! The camp host was very nice and came to check on us during our stay. The pond was lots of fun for our kids and campsites were clean! We are already talking about coming back!
