Private Riverfront camping on the historic and beautiful Suwannee River! Each expansive site has its own private 100-foot stretch of riverbank. Wakeup and enjoy a cup of coffee while listening to the sounds of Gulf Sturgeon jumping in the river; soak in the view of sunsets over the river and the nature preserve on the other side. We are located along the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail (SWRT) and Gilchrist Blueway Trail, and are within 20-30 minutes of Hart Springs, Otter Springs, and Fanning Springs. Private 1 acre site with 100 feet of river frontage on the historic Suwannee River. Sunset views across the river are incredible. This site is mostly wooded and natural, with a mature tree canopy that provides lots of shade. Guests will have water hookup (well water) and electric (50amp), as well as access to a septic waste dumpstation. This is dispersed campsite and guests may choose anywhere on the site to camp.

Our South Riverfront Site is an acre of mostly cleared land, with lovely mature trees that provide shade and 100 feet of private river frontage. Guests will enjoy the riverfront raised deck and dock overlooking the Suwannee River. The site is fenced on 3 sides towards the river, so that dogs can run off leash. Full hookups available: Water (well water), electric (50A or 30A or standard household plugs), and waste/septic. This site has an enclosed bathhouse with toilet and sink, as well as an outdoor shower (cold water).

South Riverfront Campsite with Dock

5 stars — Suwannee River gem, worth the careful approach This campsite is one of the best spots we’ve found. Gorgeous river views, peaceful, and clearly cared for by an owner who’s genuinely invested in the experience. Not to mention the campsite being fenced on 3 sides made it a joy to bring our 4 legged children. One thing worth knowing if you’re in a larger rig: the driveway takes some maneuvering. The owner gave us a heads-up ahead of time, which we really appreciated, and with a little patience and humor we were able to back our rig in down the driveway from the street without much trouble. If you’re driving something sizable, just budget a few extra minutes and maybe walk the drive first. Don’t let it scare you off! It’s a fair trade for a site this nice with a full hook up. We used an extension for both the power cord and the septic. We parked in the driveway and not on the designated pad as per the owners helpful suggestion. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back.

North Riverfront Campsite

We enjoyed our weekend! It was very peaceful with lots of birds and jumping sturgeon. The boat traffic on the Suwanee starts early but we are early risers and it didn't bother us during the day. Signage was great. Water & electricity were great. There is a nice picnic table overlooking the river and a few similarly situated benches. Lots of shade. Not a speck of trash or the "debris" typical of hipcamp sites. The landowner was very nice and quick to respond. The instructions provided were detailed and accurate. Getting in to the spot honed my mediocre trailer towing skills but there was plenty of room for us (26' overall length on the trailer + Ford F150; lots of shade means lots of trees). It is outside of the Hipcamp site but at one point the road in is very narrow with a sunken road bed and overhanging trees and we had the unfortunate timing to hit that section as a tractor was passing. So keep an eye out for that on the way in. The waste dump is an old septic tank located in a corner of the cleared area. Accessing it was beyond my trailer-backing skill and there were a few downed trees in the way. The land owner was going to work on improving access though. I definitely recommend this hipcamp and we will likely be back!
