A quiet tent site under a few trees, with nice views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Dark at night, so lots of stars. Very convenient to Durango. Lori is a great host.

Lori's land overlooks a beautiful green valley. She has a couple of friendly dogs that got along well with our pups. There are a few horses in a coral that were also friendly and curious. We enjoyed our van camp on her property. There is also a bathroom in her house that we were able to use.

Very close to Mesa Verde Park Entrance!
Great view of the Mesa and the stars were phenomenal. Caught a great pic of the Milky Way from our campsite!
We totally boondocked in my teardrop and had a great spot to hang out after long days of hiking in the park.
Was perfect for our needs!
Loved that Kiya and Bailey (the pups) would check up on us now and then!

The camp is on beautiful land with views of the stars I haven’t seen in quite some time. It’s also very quick and easy proximity to Mesa Verde.

Incredibly beautiful surroundings! The stargazing is truly unbelievable. It was great to have access to a hot shower & flushing toilets, a luxury after boondocking. Lori’s dogs were sweet & there are horses too!! Thank you Lori!

This hipcamp was in a great location and the shower and bathroom was an excellent amenity. Beyond that, the camp was very difficult to drive into with a trailer. The road was rough. The surrounding area was filled with inhospitable plants and earth. The camping spot felt more like dispersed camping than a cool Hipcamp. The site has a lot of potential.

Lori’s got a beautiful plot of land, with a bunch of sweet animals and an amazing view. Lori was very nice whenever we ran into her, and her proximity to Mesa Verde and the town of Mancos (so cute) is unbeatable. Would definitely stay there again!

Lori's directions made her land very easy to find. The campsite was immaculate and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. Even her dog Kiya met us with a very friendly greeting. Highly recommend!

Lori was so kind and responsive! It was great having access to the bathroom/shower too.. thank you for sharing your home. I parked behind the house up in the trees and the view is gorgeous, it's also shaded and private. There are horses and sweet dogs on the land. I enjoyed a hike through the neighborhood at sunset. This spot is just a few miles from town too.

We loved camping here -- the views of Mesa Verde NP were spectacular, we had a private bath + shower, plenty of space from other campers, and were surrounded by an incredibly kept ranch with beautiful dogs and horses. The host, Lori, made us feel very welcome and safe. 10/10 would recommend trying this site out. We hope to come back to Mesa Verde and will definitely be booking here again!

Truly lovely place tucked back in some gorgeous mountains. Lori allowed us to show up late and was very friendly when we arrived. Absolutely recommend this site.

Lori’s place was wonderful! The campsites Are kind of close to her house, but we didn’t mind. It was great to be able to use the bathroom. Lori was super sweet and we definitely recommend this campsite.

It was amazing to camp in Lori’s land! The views are so beautiful that it makes you feel like you are in paradise. The animals around the land are super nice and the host will let you pet them if you ask for it.
There is only 2 spots for camping and they are very secure from each other, you cannot really see the other campsite. I think that was good since I don’t like to be too close to people.
Make sure to read the information if you want to have your own private fire. There is only one fire pit where you are allowed to have fires there only. The host provided firewood which was very cool, she also provided water to put the fire out.
There is a bathroom for free, just make sure to not waste any water.
I totally recommend this place, it was such an nice experience.
