We are 9 miles from the mystical Glastonbury Abbey and Tor and directly on a Sustrans 33 cycle path route. We are on the Somerset levels so the sunsets are amazing as well as night time stargazing. We have a private, wooden jetty where you can launch your own paddle board. It’s a perfect get away for campers and nature lovers. Bring your own raised BBQs and logs or buy firewood on site. A family run campsite around 30 miles south of Bristol on the banks of the River Brue, it has a relaxed vibe and we try to keep things simple and straight forward. This was our second time staying here, and it was even more special than the first time. Every second is something to cherish. Hosts are lovely, warm and very welcoming. Facilities are outstanding, with communal kitchen and games rooms with had a pool table, air hockey and the means to play table tennis. The pod was warm, comfortable and homely. We cannot wait to stay again. Perfect getaway.

A very warm welcome from Nigel at the site, with explanation of the site. We loved staying in one of the pre-pitched bell tents, so cosy and warm with very comfy beds! Warm shower and clean composting loo. Helpful little things like the - rechargeable lanterns for use and bottle lanterns when it got dark. A plus too, lots of kitchen ware and crockery.

Wow, Little Eden is exactly what it says it is. It has everything for a wonderful camping experience. You are totally emmersed in Nature. You can hear the wild life and birds around you. You can use a fire pit and sit outside under the stars, whilst keeping warm. The decor is beautiful, the facilities are great. Really great campsite! We pitched our bell tent in the woodland where they have only 5 spaces available. I loved staying in the woods rather than in an open field. The lighting at night was magical and the facilities were fab which you only share with the 5 pitches on site so we're never crowded. We listened to the owls at night and ravens by day (my favorite bird so I was really chuffed). We used the pizza oven but unfortunately didn't get time to book the sauna - next time! My 3 kids loved the play area and tried really hard to stay up late enough to use the star gazing chairs. Location worked really well for us, we headed to the beach on the west coast, did the 4 waterfalls walk and the show caves too. We would love to try the treehouse next time, it looks epic! Thank you for a lovely holiday! It was our first visit to Wales and we'll definitely come again.

Off the beaten track on top of the Mendips in an area of outstanding natural beauty. A mixture of four acres of wild woodland, orchard and field set on a hillside. Our Yurt is set up in the trees giving you peaceful seclusion and a clear view across the sea to Wales and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you. We moved here after an 18 month search 8 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

Our glamping site is set on our family farm in the rural Welsh Border in Herefordshire and we are a dog friendly site. We have just 3 tents in 2.5acres, we want our guests to enjoy the peace and privacy of a rural getaway but have the luxuries of a comfy bed, toilets and showers, a kitchenette and a private fire pit. We are nestled between family farms and surrounded by sheep, cattle and footpaths, so an adventure is at your doorstep. If you're looking for a peaceful, secluded and romantic place to unwind then our site is ideal. We have gorgeous views over the Black Mountains and are close to the towns of Hay-on-Wye and Hereford.

We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months. Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.
