Here, you can bask in the scenic views of the glittering pond and enjoy a full day of relaxation before resuming your backpacking adventures. You have great access to the main Nipmuck Trail, which means you can hop back on and head out into the wild and breathtaking woodlands with ease. Did this hike 8-8-15. No table, out house, or fire ring. This picture is not the pond. total hike is 9.5 mile loop with two camp spots. You do need a permit. I will go back and do the compleet hike. Easy walking on the snowmoble trail. Beautiful hike.
