I had a great time staying at the Wilderness B&B! It was a solo trip and I was a bit worried about being scared camping alone but I felt safe the entire time. I also was worried about social distancing and since I went on a Monday-Wednesday it was not an issue for me.

Everything was so wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Hope to go back one day.

Wilderness Bud & Breakfast was the best! We used hipcamp for a couple different spots on our road trip and this was thee best! Host met us when we arrived, offered us a more secluded tent site and our 420 time was much appreciated when we got hit with a wild snow storm. The host allowed us to upgrade to a tipi with a wood burner inside so we could stay warm! The mountain views all over the property is just breath taking. The river is steps away! The bathroom and shower house were very well kept and a nice luxury to have. Will 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Willie was awesome and the experience and breakfast was the best. The camp ground could use a mowing but I think Willie wanted it that way. Thanks Willie for everything. Had the best time.

William was an excellent host. Camp site was beautiful, peaceful. Only one criticism which is some of the walking trails were a little over grown for tall people. Other than that there was nothing I wished was better. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to be outside with nature and all its beauty. Absolutely will be back.

The host was spectacular! He gave us advice on things to do and see in the area and was a sunny smile you look forward to seeing. He was even kind to my small dog who was having a bit of a bad day. The 420 happy hour was so cool and he even served us edibles-homemade cookies and brownies and the morning brought a warm cup of JOE and I had the oatmeal. Thumbs up! I have used hipcamp before but this was above and beyond all expectations. Not that have had tons of Wilderness 420 B&B experiences...but will 100% return as soon as possible! The mountains are calling y’all!

This site is a beautiful piece of paradise in the South San Juans. We knew the property would be gorgeous, but the hospitality and thoughtfulness Willie put into the details made our experience exceptional. After following straight-forward driving instructions, we arrived at the property and parked our car in a small lot specifically for guests. We loaded our stuff up in a provided wheel-barrow and walked a few minutes down a trail that led to the camping area. The camping area is large and secluded, and there are lots of great spots to pitch your tent while still maintaining privacy from other guests.

There are many great amenities at this site - a communal kitchen with all the utensils/spices/cooking ware you may need (stove/fuel and grill provided too), a huge firepit, a solar shower and outhouse, and river access 400m away from your tent.

Willie is kind and truly cares in your camping experience. He brought us a variety of organic flowers and infused “Hippie Granola” that he made himself, and after chatting for a few minutes, he gave us the space to enjoy the property! In the morning, he brought down a delicious assortment of breakfast items and hot water for coffee and tea.

This is a unique and gorgeous property, and can be enjoyed by all lovers of the outdoors. I cannot wait to come back!

Wilderness Bud and Breakfast is such a lovely place! The property is beautiful, nestled in a green valley with breathtaking views. The host came out to greet us as soon as we arrived, even though we got there somewhat late, and he was super helpful and welcoming. The trails through the property to the campsites, cooking areas and composting outhouse were well kept up and marked with solar lights. All the other guests were awesome, as were the happy hour selections and the organic breakfast. We only wish we’d known just how cool a place this is so we could’ve planned a longer visit!
