Good camping option near Buffalo Creek, we decided on a spot that had campfire ring, fairly private despite being close to ranch road. Beautiful area, about 15-20 min to Conifer
Ranch has several camp site options, some with views. Questions just e-mail or text host.
A bit difficult to get to, but if you follow the directions, it won't be a problem. It was mostly difficult, because we arrived as the sun was setting. I'd recommend getting to the site before sundown.
Honestly, I loved this camp so much I want to keep the secret to myself! Jeff was great, friendly and accommodating. The area was private with gorgeous wild flowers and a creek nearby. We hardly saw anyone else. We had a space with a fire pit and like the other person posted there is some old horse poop around but it’s not an issue. We will be back.
Great spot and Jeff was very nice. Really enjoyed our weekend and we will keep his spot on our list!
Jeff was a great host, quick to respond to questions. Our site (before sites 5 and 6) was perfect for our 20 foot travel trailer. It was next to the one way dirt road that leads to other sites on the property with no traffic. The ground was a bit uneven but scattered with wildflowers and visiting hummingbirds. The meadow, trees and mountains in the distance were photo worthy (downloaded some on site). There is a water pump after Jeff's house (by telephone pole and huge logs) that has water from a deep well - delicious, should be bottled and sold.
Highly Recommend.

Beautiful location along with the beautiful drive. Felt very secluded while there were a couple other groups camping out on the property which was awesome. Jeff was great and gave us clear cut instructions on how to get out to there as cell service starts fade away getting near the destination. We both highly recommend and will be going back!

Beautiful property. Super quiet and private. Although the site was on the road through the property, we saw maybe 5 cars the entire weekend.
As others have mentioned, quite a bit of horse droppings which resulted in LOTS of flies. But the scenery made up for it! Lots of stickers and foxtails in the meadow - so we were happy the dogs stayed home.
Not a campsite - more like run down horse property. Hard to find a place to even walk that did not have horse poop everywhere. Others had campsites - we did not and pretty sure we paid the same.
