We had a great night on the farm, the cows were so cute and very curious at what we were doing. We went over to the shop and got a few things and talked with the hosts for a little bit. A very lovely place. This was our first HipCamp, can't wait for our next!

We stayed at site number 2 and had an awesome time. Very secluded and serene, tucked into the woods on the edge of a field. Shelah was a very welcoming host. The farm has provisions for sale so worth considering before stocking up on the way. Beautiful place, would definitely recommend.

Private Farm under the Stars
We had a great time! Spur of the moment road trip and no idea where we would stay. Checked out Hipcamp and Shelah's place looked like the spot. Messaged her and she responded almost instantly. We stayed in her site #1 - RV site - and it was perfect for us.
We wanted to get out and about so asked Shelah what we should do. Ended up hitting all the spots she mentioned and had a great time. Also, we like to eat right and her farm store was a great source for doing just that, being well stocked with organic goods. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again if our travels take back that way.

Mixed feelings

Site #2 was easy to find. We were looking forward to checking out the farm store but unfortunately it was closed for the Labor Day weekend. The site wasn't quite as secluded as we'd hoped - we could hear traffic, etc. from the nearby roads. Sites 3 and 4 were also closer to us than we realized. The groups staying at site 3 were very friendly, so it worked out well. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Private Farm under the Stars
I was looking for a place for my kids and I to camp- away from the crowds and loud/busy (public) campsites I've visited before. This was about an hour and a half from my house and we took a lovely drive through NJ/PA and the site was quiet and private. It had a fire ring to make a fire and make s'mores and worked out great for us!

We had an amazing time at this campsite! The host was very nice and helpful. We were able to buy our meat from their Farm Store and cook it fresh on the fire; it was so tasty! The space was private and well accommodated. We decided to go kayaking before sunset and it was only 20 minutes away! The open field made a great place to see the stars at night. I definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful land and private area. It felt nice to be secluded and in a field surrounded by trees. The hosts were refreshingly kind and helpful. The guest I brought had brought a dog that got aware from us and killed 2 chickens that had gotten loose from the cage about 75 yards from the site we camped. So sad. The hosts handled this situation so graciously and politely; very much appreciated.

Park your self-contained RV or camper in the fields across the street from the working farm and enjoy the peace and quiet. When you’re ready for dinner, head over to the farm store to purchase meat from Bucks County’s only certified organic farm - Hershberger Heritage Farm - offering pasture raised meat and eggs. Your dinner can be paired with beer from Free Will Brewing Co. in the neighboring town of Perkasie.
When you’re not chowing down, pursue outdoor activities - hiking, biking, boating, and more - at nearby Green Lane Reservoir Park or Nockamixon State Park. Or, stay put on the farm and enjoy the environment that your hosts, Shelah and Nathan, have nurtured over the past four years.
