Always love camping here. Super peaceful sitting by the stream, watching the waterfall. 3rd time here and can't wait to come back again.

Best Campsite!
This is my second time staying at the Waterfall Campsite and it's just amazing as it was the first time around. We had the most incredible visit and our toddler was in heaven (as were we). I left feeling so zen and relaxed. We will definitely be back!

PERFECT SITE W/PRIVATE WATERFALL
A sweet, small (1 site, soon to be 2 max), carefully curated campsite with a private waterfall, (very) hot shower and bathroom. Has a big firepit, a separate charcoal grill, hangers for lights, privacy fencing, power + water hook-ups, easy road access and a host who is a responsive communicator. Pet-friendly and quiet. It was so special, I hesitate to post a review for fear it will become booked solid forever!

Incredible spot with a great location. Richard does a lot of work to make sure this site is well maintained and updated!

Amazing campsite, great host!
Richard’s property is absolutely breathtaking. The pictures don’t do it justice. The gated entry and long driveway makes it feel very private even during the winter and camping solo. The beautiful creek and waterfall make for a priceless backdrop. I still can’t believe I had the whole place to myself! My tent was 10 feet from the water and it lulled me to sleep. I was sad to leave and can’t wait to return. Richard was super friendly and the rich history of his land was a plus. What a gem!

Quintessential North Carolina
Exceptional site. Waterfall and river thru a 2 acre+/- all for us. Private. We stayed 2 nights and loved it so much we cancelled our reservations at National Park campground to stay longer. Host showed us around property on arrival with stories about its history. I loved the natural setting, quintessential North Carolina. Waterfall, rhododendron thicket, boulder covered bank. Close to southern end of Blue Ridge Parkway and Newfound Gap Road.
