Description

Running water, huzzah! Unlike other campgrounds of Wharton State Forest, Hawkins Bridge Campground is inundated with drinking water and flushing toilets. But, it does share it’s situational commonality with the State Forest’s other campgrounds; Hawkins Bridge Campground is situated next to the snaking Wading River.

Spent the night here before launching for a canoe trip down the wading river. Nice site area for groups. Water available that tasted good. Easy access to the river.
