Description

This campground is perfumed by the aroma of falling pine needles, backdropped by miles of leaf littered trails. Unfortunately, this group area does not allow your families wet-nosed quadrapod―so book your favorite pet-sitter for long weekends.

I grew up very close to Brendan Byrne State Forest, so this campground is like coming home for me. It's also the last stop on the South-to-North Batona Trail, which runs right through the park. Lots of trees, pet friendly campsites. In the summer, you can hear the songs of the Pine Barrens Tree Frog at night. Real showers, lots of water, and flush toilets. It's a great spot for car camping. Lots of trails plus the pavilions over at Pakim Pond. Campsites have fire rings and picnic tables. Great spot!
