Excellent with views of the bridge
Let me start with the price of this cabin you can’t beat $40 a night. It was a nice place to lay your head and clean up. The fridge and microwave were nice to have. The only thing I should mention is the shower is small and if you are more the 5’5” you will probably be hitting your head on the shower head, the hot water tank Is small so Keep Them short. With all that said I would definitely stay in them again. Again you can’t beat the price
We were very pleased with the cabins. Lake Michigan was only a few steps away. We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful area. There was good biking right outside the door. Just a few better windows, screens and shades would have made it perfect. We would stay here again!
Beautiful quiet location. But poison ivy was near the firepit and the beach. The first cabin which we stayed in was better maintained than the middle cabin. We stayed in the first cabin and was quite content. You need ti bring a fan because you can't open the windows or door for air flow. If a screen door and screens on the windows were installed and a new showerhead were installed it would be perfect. The showerhead sprays over the front onto the floor.
I called the phone number to check in and get the lock box code for 2 hours and got no answer. Luckily we saw a neighbor who called a guy who called me and got the code. The host never even called back to see if everything was ok.
The cabins were clean and the location was great, but they need to cut down the dead trees by the campfire because that’s really dangerous! Also a screen door and windows that work would be amazing.
I would stay here again!
The views if the lake and the beautiful scenery from this site were well worth the 8 hour drive. My son swam in the lake the entire time we were at the site. The cabins themselves need a little TLC, but the beds were comfortable and we had electricity and running water. I would definitely stay at this site again in the future.
