This site was so wonderful. It's a two minute walk from your car, but by crossing the little bridge and arriving at the platform, you feel entirely secluded. My time out there was as pleasant as could be. Great for a relaxing night away from the city.

This was totally wicked! Thank you to Jae for hosting such a sweet lil' spot. Perfect stopover point for road trippin' around New England -- close to Providence and other NE cities, as well as to some some gorgeous trails, annnnnd super private and beautiful despite its location in Bellingham suburbia. Camping platform is right on a small river, lit romantically by some fairy lights and the moon, the mosquitos stayed away thanks to an aptly placed tiki torch, and the fishing is good courtesy of the city stockist. We loved Jae's hospitality, garden fresh veggies, and various pets -- including some adorable ducklings! Cannot emphasize enough how much of a gem this find is. Thanks again Jae!
Had a great time at Peaceful Flow! We parked at a small white garage on the left hand side less than 100 feet before the end of the road. It dead ends on the host's property - their farmette / home on the right, and a trail to the multi-platform campsite to the left. The two are separated by a small creek that connects to the Peters River.
Our host Jae was immediately there to greet us, and gifted us with a basket of vegetables from her garden - squash, peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes. Awesome! She explained everything about their property, showed us the enclosed dog park, the spigot for water on the side of their house, and the easily accessible trash and recycle bins near the garage. She also explained that they compost if you choose to donate any of your food waste. Jae was super accommodating, she helped carry some of our equipment back to the campsite and answered all of our questions.
The trail followed along the creek for a short distance and turned left onto a path with a small wooden walkway. It didn't take any more than a minute to get from the car to the site. And what a cool little nook! It had a picnic table, portable toilet with enclosure, grill, fire pit, and 3 wooden platforms that overlooks the Peters River. We brought binoculars and were able to watch some of the local wildlife - hawks, birds, dragonflies, turtles, frogs, etc. It was a very relaxing weekend, and the location was a perfect place to kick back and enjoy.
Fair warning - if you come out to Peaceful Flow during peak mosquito season, please come prepared. You will be camping near a river, and mosquitoes can ruin an otherwise great experience! We did come prepared with permethrin treated clothing as well as spray / lotion, so were able to largely ignore their presence.
It is also important to know that you're not too far from town, so you may hear a little noise now and again (think construction or motorcycle), but it doesn't take away from feeling secluded. The campsite is just about the perfect distance away. If you choose to rejoin society, you've got a highly rated restaurant, an ice cream shop, and grocery store within walking / hiking distance to meet all of your culinary needs.
If we had to choose a single thing that made our experience so memorable, it would be the extreme hospitality of our host, Jae. It was incredibly useful to have someone who was willing to communicate well and often. This exceeded our expectations, and we really appreciated Jae's texts and attention. She made us feel welcome and was very open with her home / property. We were encouraged to take advantage of their huge dog enclosure for our beagles (behind their home), and allowed to take pictures of flowers, plants, and livestock (also behind their home). Jae asked for feedback and listened to suggestions, and shared some ideas for future additions to the campsite. Such an amazing host . . . if Hipcamp starts annual host awards, we're nominating Jae. Highly recommended, Peaceful Flow won't disappoint!

This was one of the most pleasant experiences as I host I've had....thank you for staying with us!
Cute place that was so accessible from the main roads that I was doubtful I was actually going to be "camping" and not pitching a tent next to someone's mailbox. But then I was led down a path next to a stream and found myself surrounded by trees and totally secluded. Great!
Far and away one of the most accommodating experiences I've had. Jae takes the role of host to a new level. She had a basket of vegetables picked for us upon arrival, gave us a tour of her garden and duck yard, and was available as can be (and generous with privacy too). Location is perfect for down-east new englanders...thirty minutes to Providence and Framingham MA, and just under an hour to Boston. It's right around the corner from a Bonsai museum, which is the largest collection on the east coast, and not far from Blackstone Gorge, a beautiful spot to picnic by the river. Jae's spot at Peaceful Flow is the perfect place from which to explore an understated little corner of New England. 10/10 would return.

Noah & Isbael were great!! Thank you for staying with us!
Jea was very welcoming and helpful from the very beginning. The camping site is located in a beautiful spot and is accisable and isolated in the same time. I would love to come back to the Peacful Flow sometime.

Wonderful guests, wished they could've stayed longer!
Jae was beyond amazing as a host. Jae was so helpful and kind and communication was super easy! The site was wonderful , peaceful and better than we even expected. We'd definitely come back if we're back in the region!

Jae was absolutely amazing. Could not have asked for a kinder welcome as we pulled up to this beautiful spot tucked back in the woods just outside of town. My friend and I were greeted by Jae with a smile, a basket of delicious veggies, and a bundle of firewood. After the sun went down Jae sent a text to check in on us and make sure we were all settled in for the night. The next morning my friend and I woke to the sounds of birds singing and we watched frogs jumping in the water as we cooked breakfast. Before we left Jae met us and offered a tour of the property, which included; more tomatoes, some cute ducklings, and the biggest friendliest dog I've seen in a long time.
The site one one of the best I've ever had the chance to stay at, with the raised wooden platform, Adirondack chairs, hammock (with mosquito net), and wonderful privacy. All of it was made even better by the fact that Jae was so amazingly friendly and welcoming. My friend and I look forward to returning, and I hope that if you're reading this you get a chance to visit someday as well.

Thank you so much for your review, it was a pleasure having you both.
We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Flow. The site was private and well maintained, with a few magical touches. Jae was very welcoming and helpful. It was our first camping trip with a new puppy, and this was a perfect place to get him some experience without venturing too far into the wilderness. Highly recommended.

Thank you, it was a pleasure!
