Musick Cove with Waterfall
Wow, this was the most wonderful experience I've ever had at a campsite! Shandie was lovely with giving us ample information leading up to our visit. The site is straight out of a dream. Getting to the site is pretty straight forward with the instructions that Shandie gives ahead of time. On a clear warm day, any car can access the property but I'd recommend driving in on a 4x4 if you're going in wetter weather.
We stayed at Musick Cove. We were able to roll in pretty easily on our vintage Land Rover, but a car with less ground clearance might have some trouble getting in.
The waterfall was stunning and you can walk right up to it and enjoy the pool underneath. There are additional pools that flow along the stream. Our dogs had a blast scurrying around the rocks and wading in the water.
We set up a hammock right next to our camp and brought in some steaks to grill for a meal.
We also enjoyed the night sky through a telescope too! It happened to be Full Moon so we got to peer at all the craters on the moon. I must return on a New Moon night. I'm sure the skies must be stunning when you can see more stars!
The drive to Shaver Lake was also easy and we had a blast paddleboarding out in the area. Shandie lent us some equipment which was very helpful.
I feel like we've truly found a treasure at Musick Cove and a lifelong friend and we will be returning again and again. My only regret is not booking more nights! I loved this stay!
The hosts were amazing, the campsites are large private, and had everything we need from fresh spring water to a gazebo. Yes, it is a primitive space, but it truly is a slice of heaven. Hiking and wandering the falls during the day and star gazing at night by the fire is unmatched.

Musick Cove with Waterfall
Such a beautiful and secluded place! Sleeping to the sound of the waterfall under bright stars was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. And just a short drive to the lake!
We had such an amazing stay! The campsite was absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean, peaceful, and perfectly secluded. The waterfalls were stunning and easily one of our favorite parts of the entire trip. It was the perfect place to unplug, explore, and enjoy nature with our dog.
The host was incredible! They were super responsive, so helpful, and there for absolutely anything we needed throughout our stay. You can tell a lot of care goes into making sure guests have a great experience. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better camping trip and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

Upper Falls with Incredible View
This spot feels way more remote than it actually is. It’s just tucked on the back side of the mountain, but a short drive from the lake and town. The campground is very primitive at the moment compared to state or private campgrounds, but the descriptions are clear and everything was so well kept up, groomed, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Views are stunning, the river and waterfalls were a beautiful backdrop to our stay.
We can’t wait to see what else they upgrade as they become more established. Only recommendation to Shandie and team are the inclusion of bear boxes at each site to store food and garbage out of sight.

The spot was beautiful! The drive is on dirt rocky road not ideal for our small vehicle, def not good to drive down to park right on our campsite but just a bit up the hill. Hidden gem all to yourself. Host is onsite right when you pull in, she was awesome. Friendly, directs you to your sight and meets with you later to give you a nice welcome and open to any questions you might have to take full advantage of your time. Pet friendly spot, our dog was off leash since we had our own section far away from others. The outhouse was not my favorite, short walk was not bad, can peak through the logs, hand sanitizer only to clean your hands… just not my style of bathroom BUT it was very clean. Like the spring water access nearby to fill up our jug. Overall was great spot to have for yourself with your own creek area!
Beautiful property with an amazing private waterfall and shallow swimming/wading hole. We stayed at the Upper Falls site and had incredible views - especially at sunset. Definitely a great place to stay. Shandie was helpful and responsive.
This little oasis is absolutely magical. This is my second time camping there and I can't wait to go back. Shandie is the most hospitable host, and you can tell that she and her husband care deeply about the land and being respectful of nature. All of the tent sites are great, there's so much to explore around the creek and waterfalls and it's a short 10 minute drive from Shaver lake. I love it there!
Shandie and Jesse are incredible hosts. The waterfalls are beautiful and the sites are very private. The stars are spectacular at this elevation. Will definitely be back!
The host was very sweet and kind; she explains everything very well and makes you feel welcome the whole time.
My daughters loved the swimming holes, and my husband and I loved the sound of the waterfall at bedtime.
This site was so incredible! Easy access to the most incredible waterfalls and pools, beautiful wildflowers, shining blue skies during the day, stunning sunsets and incredibly clear skies full of stars. Shandi was so helpful and is doing such an incredible job of taking care of the space and surrounding land. We were here in the middle of the summer and the site itself was pretty exposed but it doesn’t really matter when you have the entire creek to explore and find hidden gems and pools to soak in. The site was also set up with an awesome gazebo with easy to open shade and screen walls which helped provide some nice shade. We definitely hope to come back! We all talked about needing to rebook and keep checking out each of the different sites since they are so private and there must be so much more to explore even beyond where we did. Thank you so much for a magical weekend!

Musick Cove with Waterfall
What an absolutely magical campsite. Shandie was a great host. We had a wonderful time.
We have been looking forward to camping at Musik cove for over a year! We have an 8ft overland trailer that we brought with us. The road to get there ends at the property gate which turns to a dirt road, a little uneven in some spots but I don’t think it would require 4wd. We backed down to our camp site. Just fyi if you bring a sprinter etc. back down, because there’s no where to turn around at the site.
We immediately heard the waterfall and saw it peeking through the trees. Seriously the most amazing site, gorgeous waterfall, natural pools and wildflowers all around. Our two boys (3yr and 4yr) were not bored for a second. They had leaf and stick races down the river, slid down the natural water slides and swam in the water. The water seems to be naturally warmed by the granite slab it cascades down.
Shandie and Jessie were very friendly and welcoming and made sure we had enough firewood. They were also kind to point out some newer waterfalls for us to explore. We didn’t have the privilege to meet their dog, and didn’t hear her bark a single time. My only regret is wishing we could have stayed longer. This is such a hidden gem, and I hope others continue to respect their land so we can keep enjoying it.

Gorgeous property, friendly hosts, feels tucked away and private. Campsite was huge and canopy and fire pit are provided. Outhouse was close to camp and was better than any porta potty or vault toilet I’ve used. Tons of wildlife (birds, bugs, and small rodents) but not a big mosquito problem and definitely didn’t see any signs of bears or mountain lions! Will definitely be back(:

Musick Cove with Waterfall
This place is a true hidden gem! The falls were flowing nicely in July and offered a great spot to cool off in privacy once Shaver Lake got too crowded in the afternoon. The clean outhouse and accessible water spigots offer just enough convenience to make the spaces comfy without compromising the wild appeal of the place.
Absolutely wonderful stay! 2nd year in a row! These folks are great hosts and super down to earth. The sites are all great, very private and an awesome lake nearby. Respect nature and respect the land. Will be back again :)
This spot couldn’t have been more ideal! We stayed in a tent at the upper falls site and it was a dream. We had a view of a waterfall behind us and the site was on top of another. The sunset views were stunning and the spot itself was beautiful. Hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating—they are down to earth and it is evident they truly care about the land. Couldn’t recommend enough!

This place is perfect. I’ve now stayed at Upper & Lower and can tell you that all the sites are magical and the place is hosted by lovely people who really care about the land. Good vibes all around. Amazing spot!

Upper Falls with Incredible View
Our entire experience at Musick Falls was incredible. I almost don’t want to share it with anyone else because it was so perfect. Shandie is very relaxed and helpful. The potable spring water on the property is delicious. But honestly, it was just the openness and beauty of the site that made it feel like the camping trips I remember from my childhood. The swimming holes beneath the waterfall, the sunsets over the ridge line, the stargazing next to our campfire… I cannot recommend this place enough.
Musick Cove was an absolutely magical place. My sister, brother in law, my senior pup and I spent the weekend here and it was the perfect way to kick off the summer. We thought we *MIGHT* go do outside activities, but found that just hanging in the spring water beneath the waterfall was all we needed. We'll definitely be back.

We tent camped a yard from the water at Musick Creek Falls Hip Camp. It really is an epic view and place to stay. We mostly sat with our chairs in the water and our heads in the clouds. The hosts were really helpful and kind. We’d definitely go back!

Midway Lookout
The land was MAGICAL, wildflowers everywhere, and the waterfall was perfect for swimming, with pools doubling as a natural jacuzzi. Shandie and Jesse were wonderful hosts, clearing fast growing plants in the heat and showing us spots we would never have found ourselves. The picnic tables had double curtains to keep bugs out without blocking the view.
We explored the other sites too. Upper Falls has the highest, flattest ground and unobstructed stargazing, but no shade (you will be at the falls all day anyway). Musick Cove sits right by the falls with shade, and frogs provide nightly white noise, though trees block the sunset (the granite table a minute away fixes that). Lower Falls is the quietest, furthest from the rest.
We stayed at Midpoint Lookout, a short walk down a calmer stretch of water, with uninterrupted sunset and stargazing from the picnic table, though you carry your gear down a slope.
This was our first outhouse experience, and it was clean, private, and completely odourless. With zero light pollution, the night sky was entirely visible, and we stayed up late just looking up.
