Our forested property is located on a quiet country road just outside of the quaint town of Washburn, WI. We are situated right in the middle of all that lovely Bayfield County has to offer- an abundance of local beaches, public hiking and mountain biking trails, kayaking, and whatever else sparks your interest! It's an easy jumping-point for attractions in Washburn, Bayfield, Cornucopia, or Ashland. We are a young family living on our land, cultivating gardens and raising chickens (and a few pets and a kid, too!). We also live on the property and share a driveway with the camper, but we will give you plenty of privacy in your own shady glen. We have a very friendly, sweet black lab and three cats.

Home away from home

Cozy Camper in the Shade

This was my first time using hipcamp and Liz and her husband made us fall in love with it! The camper was the perfect size for us to unpack and feel like home. Having a propane stove top and mini fridge to keep our food fresh for cooking meals made having a relaxing evening and lazy start to our morning all the more memorable and relaxing. Liz is incredibly generous and was quick to answer any questions we had during our weekend stay, so it felt like we were spending the night at a friends house. An added bonus is that they have the sweetest little fur babies that we were very sweet and welcome to us giving them as many lovey as we were able to give!
