This place is off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Nice and peaceful, it’s located on the owner’s property but you never feel their presence while camping. It is be secluded and you enjoy solitude. It has the nicest outhouse for primitive camping. I absolutely loved camping here and I will definitely camp there again

Sweet, private spot complete with a well-kept composting toilet. Close to outdoor recreation— swimming at Blanco SP and trail running at Guadalupe SP. & Good star gazing!

We stayed at the campsite on the back of the property. It was very secluded and mostly quiet. There are homes nearby that aren't visible from the site but you will hear people going about their daily lives. Getting to the site was a little confusing as there weren't any clear markings but Kasey was super quick to get back to us and answered our questions. The host has a sweet, well mannered dog running around the property. We're dog people and enjoyed having him lounge around camp for the couple nights we were there. There are plenty of trees for shade paired with light breeze blowing, made for a nice, relaxing weekend.

Thanks, Rachael! I think you met the neighbor's dog. :D He is quite sweet but escapes from time to time. Come again!

Very relaxing! We loved how private our area was. Kasey was quick to respond prior to and during our stay. The price was amazing. It was great for our pup with the shade. He was able to stay cool and relaxed the whole time too. We hope to see firewood purchasing as an option in the future.

The site was neat, beautiful, and secluded. The bare bones setup was just what I was looking for. Not having a bathroom could have been an issue for a long term stay but was no problem for one night.

This is a nice little spot with lots of trees, and there's level ground for your tent. It's both close enough and far enough away from San Antonio to make for a nice getaway. Kasey is a helpful and responsive host. I definitely plan to visit again.
