Description

Pelican Lake Campground has a little something for everyone: archers, equestrians, hikers, boaters, bird-watchers, anglers, picnickers, swimmers...you’ll stay busy at this campground! Take the short (3/4 of a mile) hike up to the observation tower for great views of the lake, which is visited by pelicans during their annual migration. And/or check out Pelican Prairie Trail! This 5.2-mile trail is for hikers, bikers, and equestrians. It’ll take you over rolling prairies, through woodlands, to scenic lake vistas. You might be rewarded with impressive displays of wildflowers in the summer. You into it?
