Kerry Valley Secret - Stockyard Creek, Kingfisher and Platypus Campsites in the Scenic Rim are exclusive bush campsites - once you have booked no-one else will be able to camp at that site - and they are perfect for groups! The Stockyard Creek Campsite is situated on the babbling Stockyard Creek and there is a short walk to the bigger Albert River waterhole. This pretty spot features Silky Oaks and Ironwood trees, views to Luke's Bluff and Ding Bing falls in Lamington National Park, has plenty of shade for tents and a huge space for caravans and camper trailers to turn around in Family groups love the site for the babbling but shallow child friendly Stockyard Creek - perfect for paddling and playing in. The Kingfisher and Platypus Campsites have larger waterholes than the Stockyard Creek Campsite, are great for fishing and swimming as you wander the 2km of river frontage . They both have easy access off the main Kerry Road. Friends love our campsites for catch ups, the bird watching, small historical or nature walks around the property and of course the cool waterholes in the Albert River. Other groups use Kerry Valley Secret as a base camp for hiking adventures in the wilderness end of Lamington National Park. Bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the waterhole on the Albert River. Don't forget the marshmallows to roast on the fire at night (firewood provided). Binoculars and boots are a must for bird watching and exploring our walking tracks through the forest. All campsites have basic toilet facilities (a portaloo) and firepit (with a free bag of kindling provided). Stockyard Creek Campsite also includes a picnic table. Exclusivity is a feature of all our campsite and for that reason we only take a flat rate booking. Once you have booked no one else will be able to camp at the site, it is all yours.

The campsite is situated on the babbling upper Albert River. Platypus Campsite has easy access off the main Kerry Road and has a large space for caravans and camper trailers to turn around in. Family groups love the site for the long waterholes and to wander along our 2km of Albert River frontage fishing. Friends love it for catch ups, the bird watching, nature walks around the property and of course the cool waterholes to laze in. Bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the waterhole on the Albert River. Don't forget the marshmallows to roast on the fire at night (a free bag of firewood is provided). Binoculars and boots are a must for bird watching and exploring. Facilities include a basic toilet facilities (a portaloo), one household power point, fire ring and cement bench. Exclusivity is a feature of this campsite and for that reason we only take a flat rate booking. Once you have booked no one else will be able to camp at this site, it is all yours.

Kerry Valley Secret | Kingfisher Campsite in the Scenic Rim is an exclusive bush campsite - once you have booked no-one else will be able to camp here - and it is perfect for groups! The campsite is situated on the babbling upper Albert River. The "Longreach" waterhole is the star at Kingfisher Campsite. The campsite features a large open space with views to Gorman's Rock and Mt Alexander. Campers have a choice of a short track direct to the Albert River or a 450m jaunt to the "Longreach" waterhole. Great for those who love fresh water fishing. Bass is a favourite catch and release fish or target the pesky Carp. Bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the "Longreach" waterhole Plenty of space to kick around a football or practice your golf. Easy access off Kerry Road. Facilities include a firepit, cement bench and basic toilet facilities (a portaloo). BYO drinking water. We do recommend that campers bring marquees for shade in summer. It is shady while you are visiting the river. The large open spaced campsite however, means that there is a shortage of shade at the actual campsite (we will be planting trees).
