As all the land here is born of lava, many moons ago this land began to host plants and critters. Long after, it was sculpted and a number of families and farmers have contributed to what we have today. An abundance of fruit and vegetables within sight of the ocean. Peaceful breezes and warming sun make for unparalleled tranquility. Today the land still gives back to its visitors.

As this is agricultural lands, there are many critters. Dogs, chickens, pheasants, peacock, mongoose, and many birds. Tge invasive coqui frog is annoying to some and calming to others.
The micro climate here swings from warm and dry to wet quickly. Best to always prepare for rain.
There is snorkeling, beaches, local food, Cafe, BBQ, poke, fish-n-chips, grocery, Sunday farmers market and hiking nearby.
It is peaceful here, but also an active farming community.
As an organic farm, we put alot of effort into soil building and as such, there are soft places that will be damaged by the weight of a vehicle. Staying on the driveway is best. We will guide you to where you need to go.
Our road is paved, but bumpy. Any vehicle will make it without damage if driven slowly. 1 to 4mph tops. *Be sure to avoid the camper rental companies that restrict certain roads.

We have a hidden exotic fruit orchard tucked away through rolling green hills, perched over the Hamakua cliffs, overlooking the pacific.
We sell our fruits ripe and cut ready to eat at our roadside fruit stand, open 10-6 daily including holidays! We serve local fresh juices and machete open coconuts to drink ice cold.
We grow mango, durian, lilikoi, star fruit, chocolate sapote, buddhas hand citrus, finger limes, tangerines and tangelos, jackfruit, tree grapes, mangosteen, white pineapples, mountain apples, berries, spices and much more. We are home to dozens of rescue animals, many who came from Puna during the 2018 lava flow. Meet peaceful sheep, lambs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and a lovable pet pig. Not to mention our friendly farm cats.
We are a community of a few passionate farmers and fruit lovers. There’s a family- myself Rose, my partner Matthew and our daughter Mela, plus several awesome guys and girls who help out in different areas to grow our lives together!

Aloha campers, if you are looking for a safe, quiet place to park your campervan for the night, you’ve come to the right spot. We offer a secluded, private parking area located at the foot of Mauna Loa in an agricultural region on the Big Island of Hawaii. The property features sweeping ocean views with beautiful sunrises and sunsets overlooking the Pacific Ocean, South Point, and Pohue Bay.
There are no streetlights in the area and minimal lighting on the property, making it very dark at night — perfect for stargazing.
We are ideally located on the southwest side of the Big Island, about 50 miles from Kailua–Kona and 50 miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Just two blocks south of the main highway (Hawaii Belt Road), our large gated lot in Ocean View Ranchos is the perfect campervan staging area for popular destinations on the east, south, and west sides of the island.
It’s a short drive to Punaluʻu Bake Shop, Black Sands Beach, South Point (the southernmost point in the U.S.), and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, home to one of the most active volcanoes on the planet, Kīlauea — only an hour away.
We know firsthand how difficult it can be to secure safe overnight parking, as the State of Hawaii doesn’t allow it on public roadways.
This is no-frills overnight parking. There is currently no running water, but we do provide a porta-potty for guests. We plan to add an outdoor shower and running water in the near future.

We had a wonderful time staying there and Brannon was a fantastic host and took great care of us. The ocean view was amazing and it was nice to have so much open space. Also the other people staying there were really fun to hang out with and it was a great community. Also the location is really easy to get to and the roads are good all the way there. The L&L Hawaiian Barbecue restaurant was right down the road and it had great food

Eddie’s place is awesome! Great views, great vibes. The entire property is on top of the 1907 Mauna Loa lava flow. There is a nice flat spot that is perfect for a camper van, and it opens out to an incredible vista of lava and the Pacific in the distance. We felt super secluded and safe during our stay, while also being just a short drive from great snorkeling and other attractions along the SW region of the Big Island. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed at the end of a long day. Eddie is a great host and he and his two dogs, Coconut and Ocho, made us feel very welcome. Just book it! Mahalo Eddie 🤙

The property was undeveloped but that made it fairly private and more immersive. We saw a lot of birds, which we loved. Colin was very communicative which was helpful in finding our spot and enjoying our time there. If you’re looking for a spot to just sleep for a night, this is a great choice! But if you want more amenities, it might be best to look elsewhere.

We had a beautiful view from our campervan parking pad.
We arrived just at dark on a Christmas Eve. The drive in is well paved, though moderately bumpy.
Because we caught some rain overnight, I was concerned about traction the next morning for our departure. The pad and driveway presented no problem.
We were a close distance to a fire ring and porta potty. The restroom was very clean.

This is nice land to stay on, if you’re lucky and the sky is clear at night the stars are unREAL. Colin was very responsive and helpful. It’s a bring your own everything type of place, but there is a portapotty that works just fine for what you need it for (hasn’t been serviced in a while but it was perfectly functional and not gross. There’s a beach with a shower not too far away so that’s helpful! There are pigs roaming around the shadows at night but none bothered us or came near our camp while we were outside. We really liked our stay and would stay again and recommend to folks that can handle the minimal amenities like we can. Thanks Colin!!

Breathtaking views! The best bathroom and the kindest host. Something to note is that the site is right by the house if you don’t mind. Overall one of the most beautiful remote site! (Don’t drive down to the lower part of the property like me, volcanic rocks are no joke on an incline)

Nice private camp area behind locked gate. Careful there is a lot of broken glass as you drive past the gate towards the campsite, I cleaned up a lot but the more I cleaned up the more I found. The code to the gate was wrong on the directions - luckily there was a worker at the fruit stand that gave me the right one. Tried to get a hold of the host regarding wifi but took over a day - called twice, WhatsApp, text - she finally responded to a text. Nice place to unwind and not have anyone bother you.

Bumpy road up for us in a sprinter van but slow and steady made it happen no problem. Colin was available and super helpful navigating us up and even telling us the best way to park our large van. Susan stopped by to quickly tell us about the critters and plants nearby which was fun to learn about.
The toilets were not available as they hadn't been serviced so ask ahead if that’s a need for your stay.

We camped in our campervan and it was easy parking, quiet and level. Make sure you communicate with the camp before getting there as we didn’t have cell service once there and the starlink did not show up on our phones. Also make sure you screen shot the route or download your map app.
