Smith rock state park ease &comfort
This is "camping" at a luxury hotel! The location (Smith Rock), the accommodations (bed, linens, pillows are top quality), the panoramic stillness of farmland and boulders, with an outdoor kitchen that has everything we needed (plus fresh garden veggies from Raina to welcome us)! I don't believe the pictures do justice to this place. it's a gemstone and Smith Rock it is less than 10-min away! Raina has not left out a single detail to make this HipCamp comfortable.
Super magical place!
We had a great stay at Big Rock Ranch in the Elk Tent! The hospitality and attention to detail was appreciated. It was the cutest place ever and the hosts were so gracious and kind. I highly recommend the stay! Super easy to get to with an awesome natural foods store down the road and so close to Hiking Smith Rock. I would totally put it on the bucket list and can't wait to go back!
Dreamy canvas tent
We had the best time. The hosts are wonderful humans, we enjoyed them and Monty very much. The location was spectacular and the accommodations were charming and so clean. We both commented many times how much we wish we could live there. I wouldn't change anything about our experience.
This experience was incredible!! The farm, the tent, the views were all stunning. Raina and Nathaniel are excellent hosts! They brought us fresh eggs and flowers. They answered all of our questions about the farm. The property is gorgeous with chickens, sheep, horses and cows. A cow was even born the day we arrived! The tent was great. It had everything we needed. The stove and the sink all worked great. The location is beautiful and super close to Smith Rock and Lake Billy. We were only 30 minutes from Bend, so we drove in there for a night as well. This stay far exceeded my expectations! We were blown away. I would recommend this experience to anyone!!
Out of africa in oregon
Raina and Nathanial have created a space that feels like Out of Africa meets The Biggest Little Farm. The itself tent hits that perfect intersection of luxury (the wrought iron bed and cozy covers!) and simple (just enough that you have everything you need, but without any sort of feeling of clutter). And the outdoor sink, stove, and table make it convenient. But there’s nothing like falling asleep looking out at the pastures and hills (I was there on a full moon) and waking up to roosters and mewing sheep. I can’t wait to go back!
