Surrounded by 45 acres of boulders, sheer cliff faces and unsurpassed views, the campground is one to remember. No other land has the stories, beauty or views that the Silver City Campground has. (Have you seen the movie Last of the Mohicans? this is where it was filmed!). Want to hunt for the lost treasure? Now's your chance.Premium view sites are located at the front of the meadow overlooking Hickory Nut Gap Falls (300ft water fall) and the Chimney Rock State Park Monument. Campers will have 15ft x 25ft for all their belongings and vehicle. There are port-a-pottys with sinks on site and running non-potable water. There is no electricity or showers. There is hiking and a trail on site that leads to Chimney Rock Village and to the cliffs known as "Ghost Town."
