If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Jae is always an amazing host. The cabin was stocked with everything we’d need and had plenty of space and seating options, which we loved. The area is just GORGEOUS and serene, so green and lush! Plus the wolfhounds are an added bonus. Jae gave us some delicious cherry sangria she had made, plus some fresh eggs. We love staying at Jae’s A Frame and will be back for more!
This place was an absolute delight! Jae was a considerate and helpful host, the A-frame and surrounding nature were gorgeous and well-maintained, and there were lots of little touches that made our stay perfect. Can’t recommend this place enough!!
10/10 would come again
The minute we arrived after a long week at work Jae was very welcoming. Jae gave us a quick and informative tour of the place. The a-frame is a very cute place and a great way to be outdoors, the mosquito nets were super helpful in keeping bugs out and added to the whimsical feel. The location is perfect and surprising, while driving there for the first time we wouldn't have expected such a secret hideaway. Being by the water you got to see a variety of wildlife.
There are a lot of amenities which means light packing. You really don't need to leave the location for anything but there are a lot of cute trails and activities nearby if you're interested.
this spot is heavenly. we were the first guests of the season and somehow the weather felt like july- we slept comfortably in the open air, no bugs in the mosquito netted sleeping area, temps were perfect, a-frame was adorable, bed was cozy, site was charming, spacious, clean and private. i loved the solar shower, lilacs, and fire pit- and of course the dogs! jae was an incredibly warm host throughout our stay and was quick to respond to any questions i had before and during.
This is a beautiful property and was brimming with a surprising amount of wildlife considering how close it is to civilization! We saw a couple of geese with goslings, a few ducks and ducklings, and even a muskrat swimming back and forth in the stream while we were there. The bird songs were also incredible. Jae was also super sweet and offered to let us change our initial dates because it was going to be unseasonably cold and windy (i.e. a fire ban). We really, really appreciated her flexibility and were able to enjoy our weekend getaway in much nicer weather. Thank you, Jae!
Amazing solo glamping spot!
What a gem! Kudos to host Jae for making this little spot the cutest and most hip retreat! Perfect combination of rustic and convenient with regards to location and amenities. Jae has taken the time to make this spot so special and it shows in the small details and the way she has designed it to feel like your own little homestead. From the moment I reserved to the minute I left she was the best host ever!. This place is private yet close to civilization and coming alone for two days I felt safe and content in every way! I can’t wait to come back and spend more time with the ducks and the dogs. I could stay there forever! Love love love it thank you Jae for creating this little oasis.
Best little cabin on the water
First off, Jae was absolutely awesome! The best host we have had and we've stayed at many many camps/Airbnb's. She was so welcoming, funny! sweet, kind. Absolutely lovely. She showed us right to the site and explained everything wonderfully even though we got there kinda late.. whoops. As far as the cabin goes we simply loved the stay here. Everything was perfect, the whole set-up, the cabin right on the water with a little cafe style table chairs and a wood fired stove, the canopy over the cute little picnic table, the fire pit and outhouse right there. Not to mention the amazing mosquito netting all over the place making for a cozy fairy tale. The changing fall colors. We usually are way out in the middle of nowhere, but this was such a treat to have the convenience of a small town within walking distance. If you're thinking about it, just go anyway and check it out, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again for sharing your place with us Jae!! You're the best!
We had a beautiful stay at Shite Foot Farms! Jae was super responsive and welcoming and provided everything we needed, including some fresh veggies from her garden. She is truly an awesome host! The changing leaves, warm bed, and twinkle lights made for the perfect ambiance. Thank you Jae!
